Texture Pack Problem

First off, I would have posted this on bug reports, but I don't have a github account and I don't want to create one. That being said, I am having a texture pack problem. No matter what I do, the texture pack won't come up. I set the texture packs to prompt and pressed yes, and when it didn't work, I set it to enabled, and it still didn't work. I looked in my resource pack file, and all that was in there are the packs I installed. I have a mac, if that helps. If someone could help me, that would be great.

Sometimes resourcepacks are too much of a strain to load, even if they are being used.

 

Try deleting your minecraft launcher then reinstalling it.

 

I think it's because you use a mac. The same problem happened to me when I used a mac, but the texture pack downloaded on my windows comp.

It's on older computers try to direct connect it works on old computers (by old I mean before 2013)

 

Because this is in the general sugestion section. you want this? I don't you know so please think of the most logic thing where to put these things.
