Horse Breeding Idea

Currently, breeding horses has:
20% chance of a horse upgrade
30% chance of a horse downgrade
50% chance of no change

I suggest that if the horse is a higher level, then it has a higher chance of upgrading.

Example: Merging a 10/10 brown with a 0/10 brown would be a 30% chance of an upgrade
10/10 with a 10/10 would be 40% (25% downgrade chance)


Black horses: 20/20 with 0/20 would be 40%
20/20 with 20/20 would only be 50% however (20% downgrade chance)



Chestnut: 30/30 with 0/30 would be 50%
30/30 with 30/30 would only be 60% however (15% downgrade chance)



White: 40/40 with 0/40 would be 60%
40/40 with 40/40 would be 70% of an upgrade (10% downgrade chance)


Every time your horse levels up and reaches a point where it's upgrading chance has been increased, a message will appear with the +speed +jump +breeding ability. It would not be a case of, if they're 2 level 2 horses , then they have a slightly higher chance, it would be every 10 levels.

 

Your idea is good, however the increased chance is too high.
Also you should use the average level between the 2 horses.

 

i thought this was already in the game becuse i had like 6 brown horses whith 1/10 and one brown horse with 10/10 and i got a black horse with my 10/10 and a 1/10 but i tried with 1/10 with a 1/10 3 times, sorry for the bad english

 

Better not touching that if we don't want all the horse market crash. I think is good right now. Horses are a really exclusive item.

 

As said this could break the economy and really upset players that have bought horses for the current market value. If this is implemented then the economy would lose HUNDREDS of LE. Horse breeding is meant to be a difficult and lucrative action meant for experienced players.

I'm alright with it. I don't frequently trade horses around, but I didn't feel that it was unfair or anything. Whats your view on the horse market now?

 

breeding a white horse right now takes 118le and 52eb on average. they get sold for around 60-90 le. that is far from ok.

 

Well, the Horse market increased after the release of Gavel, at some point after release prices went up about 30 le for Whites from 40 le pre-Gavel to 70+.

And they dropped to 40-50 a month before release. Ingame sellers wouldnt go much higher than 50

 

I think this is a great idea. especially with the price of getting a new horse.

 

White horses breeding with each other don't give anything :>

 

I'm pretty sure they do, they give you 30% for a chestnut, 70% for a white and a 100% loss of investment

I really like the idea, its quite anoying to have the same chances on all levels.
