    Hello adventurers of wynncraft!
This was an idea that I thought of maybe a year ago before one of the great forum wipes so this was unfortunately deleted before it got some real momentum, but basically here is the main idea was founded upon that most of the current quests are somewhat easy to find and complete even with challenging bosses and annoying puzzles and the weird ??? quest. This is my solution to the problem, making the game a little more challenging to complete

    proxy.php

The main idea of hidden quests is that there are hidden item frames with paper on the with the tag "HIDDEN QUEST number x, y/5 pieces collected" on it. The x is hidden quest number, the y is how many pieces you have collected. you will not be able to accept the quest from the NPC until you have collected all five pieces. If you do talk to the NPC all you will get is corrupted text. Each pieces you collect will reveal more information in the quest book in the following order.
    1st piece found: minimum level
    2nd: NPC name
    3rd: Biome/city
    4th: coordinates

The following is an example of a level 15 hidden quest in the deltas region.
The papers could be hidden in the following places
    1. Item identifier's tower
    2. The inn (can't remember the name)
    3. a pocket in the city wall
    4. Scroll merchant's storage
    5. In one of the gates leading outside
    6. The bridge outside the south gate
Disclaimer: I am terrible with names, I'll come up with them... eventually.
    Without any paper
    G&*@Haf: F%6 Hq FH$8 gt K#faj^Ri$(d! Fw snel ^ah Gjsf %SNV GISDHFG
    With some paper
Start NPC :GIDS DSGIG SIDGGJDSFO! FDSFD level 15 HRHFDWGEU
    With all paper
Start NPC: All my stuff is disappearing! If only you were level 15, you could help me!

The main story of this quest is tracking down some bandits for the purposes of bringing them to justice. (and looting, obviously)

There will probably be no more than 20-25 hidden quests, meaning 100-125 hidden paper (maybe hidden by the scroll merchants) but even with 5 there will hopefully be enough content to keep hardcore questers busy. But most importantly, the rewards will be much, MUCH higher than another quest at the same level, maybe going as high as 3x rewards for the highest level quests.

Do you have an idea? Want to change something? Please leave a comment. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful!

February 15 2016: added hidden quest example.

Someone had an idea like this. I think it was @Yuno F Gasai who did it. Basically you find a book laying around and you read it, and you get a quest. Could be yuno, could not be. I forget.

I had something similar but my idea was more about choices in quests and quest paths.

Thanks to 8bit for the banner, I can't seem to add it to the thread, but i will figure it out! Also thanks to SPYROHAWK for the thread. I've been away on vacation for a while and haven't been able to check regularly, but I got some new stuff to take a look at. Any suggestions would be awesome! (also, 15 potatoes?)
