New Class Idea: Darkwarrior

In our class system now, we got warrior as Tank/DoT, we got archer for range snipe, we got assassin for close range and mage for healing/AoE

Where did the crowd control one go?

Now Introducing DARK FIGHTER/DARK KILLER

Lore:
DarkFighter was once a loyal warrior in the army. However, basic killing could not satisfy him. He left the army and look for the power, not to kill the enemy, not to help his ally, but to enjoy torturing his enemy.

Description:
DarkFighter is a class that rely on him ally very heavily so as his ally rely on him. As he could not deal a lot of damage, he could not be a loner, but to pair up with other ally, however, his fantastic crowd control skill make him stand out in a giant boss fight. Without him, even if the team has multiple healers and tank, the team would collapse.

Hive Infused Whip - 100-200

Spells:
1. Fear
Description: Fear his enemy, debuffing them
Level 1-Shiver: Give enemy slowness III for 5 seconds
Level 2-Close eyes: Give enemy Blindness for 5 seconds
Level 3-Weakness Showing: Enemy -50% defense for 5 seconds

2. Ambush:
Description: Ambush his enemy, controling them using physical power
Level 1: Charge for about 15 blocks.
Level 2 +Hold: If hit an enemy, making him Unable to damage anyone within 3 seconds when the enemy is within 3 blocks radius with the DarkWarrior
Level 3 +Fake Peace: Making DarkWarrior unable to do any damage for 1 second, and increase his basic attack damage for 2x in the next 5 seconds.

3. Death Swarm:
Description: Create an aura. All enemy inside the aura will increase crazy debuff and damage
Level 1-Poison Touch: Deal 150% damage and Making the enemy take 2x poison damage.
Level 2-Tired: Making mobs deal no damage for the next spell, making other players need 3x mana to activate next spell in nether, mostly need 19mana.
Level 3-At the end, when the aura is about to disappear, it throws all enemy inside the aura up into the sky. Enemy in the sky could not deal damage

4. Cold Blooded:
Description: Only range damage DarkWarrior has. Like war scream bur doesnt buff himself, instead debuff others
Level 1-Extend: If the enemy has a negative effect, extend the time for 10 seconds
Level 2-Curse: If the enemy has a positive effect, clear it and deal damage (the more and loner time period of positive effect the enemy has, the more damage he deals, mostly deal 150% damage)
Level 3-Uncureable: Making enemy unable to clear the negative effects for 10 seconds.


You may say "It's OP!". No, it is not. It has the lowest raw damage, and even spell does almost no damage. However, he is truly a nightmare in a warfield.

Seems a bit too similar: Maybe Dark Knight for normal, and Deathcharger or something for the VIP?
and I'm quite sure the lightning spear's later tiers are double-sided, this may cause confusion.

 

but lance is like much longer than spear. nah idk

I mean on debuffs,and blindness is useless beacuse it doesnt effect mobs

Yeah, No. theres already a class called warrior/knight try to come up with different names etc, Dark Lancer, Dark Axeman idk
but honestly i dont want to travel the world, and see a dark knight use cold blooded making me get negative effects.

 

First off, thanks for putting actual detail into your suggestion. I think this idea is ok, but the name spells are very similar to Warrior (ambush=charge, cold blooded=war scream). It might be better with a different name and a little bit different Ambush and Cold Blooded. I do like the crowd control part, but I don't know if this should be added or not.

actually if you look in the lore of the class:

The spells are made to be really similar with the warrior class intentionally

even if you get negative effect, you wont be killed by him. just look at the damage.

 

YES but i dont want blindness, nausea, wither effect, etc.

BUT we cant kill him... Only if its a duel then we can...

k... but any class that does, poison, wither, or fire damage, is the most op class there is.

 

he doesnt make himself op, he just simply makes the enemy weak. look at his raw damage and spells' damage. look at the debuff, there is only 1 buff for himself but all the others are debuff which his ally could find it handy

 

So basically its name is even a warrior clone

 

The idea of this class isn't bad. I can see it as a powerful class in-game. But it needs a lot more planning.

The name "darkwarrior" and "darkknight" just seems bad. Sorry, but it seems like a reskin of the warrior class, not a seperate one.

I suggest that you do some more work with the weapon (we already have two-sided spear texture for warriors) and the class name. Other than that, it seems good.
