What Is It With Re-spawn Points

Im doing the ice nations quest and im constantly being overwhelmed by mobs that are stronger than me. The problem is that whenever I die i keep getting sent back to selchar which is really annoying. But its not just this quest where i keep getting respawned at stupidly far away locations. Take for example the mask sales man quest. This quest takes place near maltic but for some reason if you die you are sent back to selchar? Also the tribal aggression quest where if you die you are sent back to ternaves but the hard part is to the north of the red cliffs. Please can we move the respawn points, knowing that each time i die ill have to trek to the location i need to go is just discouraging

i was doing a quest in the light forest and i respawn in the lvl 1 spawnpoint when you login for your first time. i was a little bit mad XD

 

lol, those are nothing, if you die in Shattered minds, you get sent all the way back to the Tutorial Canyon.

 

The problem isn't with the respawn points. It's that those areas are outside the map, and you spawn in the closest city. The closest city is sometimes in odd places because of where the out of map area is located.

 

Yeah, if there were quest "checkpoints" or better respawn points, that would be nice. However, I don't know if that is possible to implement.
