3d Armors.

My suggestion was if the server had custom 3d armor's it would be cool such as these AS AN EXAMPLE.


Not advertising or anything i bet most people already know what server that is but it would be cool.

The 3D armor that server uses are obviously re-modelled blocks. It IS possible to do it, but with all the armor that we have and all the skins that come with those, we won't have enough blocks to remodel. Also like the person said above me, there will be lag

 

This, and that server doesnt have a whole freaking rpg using a ton of block textures. It's just a small game where you fight to the death, we cant do that.

 

While 3D armor would be nice, keep in mind that it would probably take longer to make 3D models for EVERY single armor skin that it took to make all of Gavel, plus, I'm not sure its even possible to make multiple sets of 3D armor for 1.8, not sure about 1.9........

 

Honestly i don't think it will cause lag at all.

 

1. Would mess up blocks.
2. So many different types of armour in this game: Warlords only needs the 3 tiers of 4 helms.
3. Can only do helms.

 

This would possibly cause certain placed blocks to look different, u wouldn't want detlas to be made out of crowns would you?
