I already made a post about an auction system that might take some time to make, this is a bit different since it will help it since auctions are so broken.

This is a simple list of rules that are in order of importance in my eyes.

    1. People cannot withhold their auction because they "don't like the price".
-This is really annoying since people don't get the point of a starting bid and is really just another way to sell some item for a ridiculous price. This is pretty much in every auction now, "I also can withhold from selling if the price doesn't feel right".

    2. Auctions MUST have a ending time.
-This is pretty important since people now just keep an auction going for days since they want double the actual price of the item they are selling.

    3. HONOR the buyouts.
    - This is probably one of the greediest things here, but its a pretty simple rule. Just because someone gave double the buyout, you shouldn't change the auction and act like someone else didn't already buy, this is pretty much scamming someone.

    4. No withdrawing
-This goes for both the auctioneer and the bidder because you should withdraw from an auction because you are looking through every thread and bid on every auction until you get what you want and withdraw from all the others.

    5. No fake offers (this also includes people making a high offer that they have no money for)

If you think I should add something else, post it down below

    i agree with 2 , 3 and 5
but 1 and 4 are just your rights , if you're not sure that you want to sell something , you want to see if its gonna go as high as you hoped and if it doesnt and you'd just rater to keep it , than its your right

Except that's the risk of doing an auction. Sometimes you hit high and sometimes you hit low. This comes naturally with an auction. It's like buying stock and always expecting it to go up. It'd be ideal, but completely unrealistic.

Every single item has it own price range depending on IDs, I dont think a single person who said this thinks that its because they dont know the worth, they do it because they want to get something higher than its fair price
because forum team needs some auction rules or a system

I just went through the auctions in the first 3 pages and it seems that half of them say something like "I deserve all rights to cancel this auction if the price doesnt fit my wanting"

Which makes little sense and I really dont get what people mean by "the right/rights". If you do an auction in real life, you cant say no to the top bidder and auction the thing again. Honestly, I dont know ANY place that gives the seller "the right" to withdraw if they didnt get enough money.
