So, some new dungeons would be cool in the next addition to the Wynncraft map. But not only dungeons, but specialized items. This would be cool to give each class a smaller help if they do choose to do the dungeons (Which should presumably be relatively difficult)

    Here are some Item Ideas:

Hookshot: can shoot at a specific block and provide you with loot chests of more emeralds

Medallions: allow you to have a higher luck in whichever medallion you have (emerald medallion gets more emeralds in chest, loot medallion gets more loot, etc.)

Running boots: enable you to run longer than average.

Sidearms for each class: for mage, knight, and assassin it would be great to have a bow with damage 5-10 just as a small ranged weapon, and for archer, a dagger with 5-10 damage.

New spells: spells that have new and uniqe functions.

Boomerang: allowing you to stun enemies temporarily from a distance to get a few hits in.

Bombs: explosives used on particular blocks that can harm large groups of enemies, but has long fuse, or can reveal secret passages leading to potential emerald loot, quests, or a secret merchant selling great weapons, or normal weapons for low prices.

Powders: re-implement powders, but make the only way to obtain them is by gathering the three powder bags from separate dungeons. These powders could be used to upgrade weapons, OR used as a very harmful substance to mobs, but as it is a rare commodity, would more likely be used for upgrades.

These are just a few ideas of items for dungeons, now let's get onto dungeons themselves.

Most dungeons in Wynncraft currently are very straightforward and not super challenging aside from the mobs. Dungeons with a difficult scheme of trying to get keys and unlock things with puzzles and defeating enemies to open doors would make dungeons more enjoyable. Dungeon design could make or break your dungeon though, so a multiple floored dungeon with several rooms on each floor that require small amounts of backtracking would make it feel better. Also, unique bosses. I understand Mine craft has limitations and Wynncraft is its best attempt to diversify the mobs, but I feel as if bosses could be very much improved on, and size could make them seem either easy or hard. Just piling health on attack doesn't do much. Its just repeat of past tasks. Make them have the ability to throw things at you and attack you normally. Give them several ways to be killed (such as for mobs that have lots of health, create things like a weak ceilings hat can be blown up to drop on the boss and make it defenseless to your attacks temporarily.

Overall, I think Wynncraft is pretty great currently, but there are minor and major tweaks that could and would make the game much better.

Tell me below what you want to see come out of Wynncraft with an expansion of new dungeons and items.

(I need to stop basing my ideas off of Zelda)

I like the medallions most of all. Everything else just doesn't seem RPG like, and new spells and stuff would be weird to get from dungeons. Powders, meh... No. Don't make them only from dungeons.

Mage's sidearm should be a dagger as well due to the class being somewhat ranged =3

And I would also and the sidearm slot to be the 2ed hand once 1.9 is out, and can hold only normal items of said weapon: does 5-15 damage seem the best for higher lvls? And you have to use the swap button to use it. Hope this gets put in with the dungeons ^-^

The follow-up update is adding new dungeons, and Salted did say that some items are only accessible when completing a dungeon (however, he didn't elaborate on what this actually means).

Actually it was a reference to the Pegasus boots from Zelda, but I did think of Pokemon as I was writing it ;)
