Quest Idea: The Ranch

Description in quest book:
Something doesn't look as right at an Abandoned ranch (Insanity ranch, you'd know about this if your read Marked's file of obscure locations 3) in the Time valley at [So and so coords, marked I think you can fill this in if you read this]

Approach the ranch, fight past the insane horses and explore the basement.

(If you talk to the Traumatized Rancher if you aren't the right level)
Traumatized Rancher: Get away from me and don't come back, I hope you aren't mad like the rest! maybe if you're level 38 , you could help me.
(If you talk to the Traumatized Rancher if you are the right level)
Traumatized Rancher: No please don't kill me!
Traumatized Rancher: Don't do it!
Traumatized Rancher: Wait, you aren't mad like everything else?
Traumatized Rancher: Okay, let me explain. A few months ago. A group of cultists moved into a cave nearby just outside the ranch, I think they performed a ritual or something and drove everything in this part of the valley mad!
Traumatized Rancher: Nomads went insane and hid in deep caves, pigs got mad and ran off. My horses also went insane and overcame the ranch, they killed everything here that wasn't driven insane by the dark magic.

Traumatized Rancher: I think those cultists are hiding something. Before you do anything or leave me to die. I think it's kinda nice down here in this basement. How about you get me some food? If you could, bring me [5 potato] [1 Drunkness potion] and [2 water bottle].

(If you speak to the Traumatized Rancher before getting the items)
Traumatized Rancher: I have written what you need to get in your quest book, hurry please.

(If you speak to the Traumatized Rancher after getting the items)
Traumatized Rancher: Thank you very much adventurer.
Traumatized Rancher: If you're brave enough, try investigating that cultist hideout and report to me about what you found.
(If you speak to him before going to the cave)
Traumatized Rancher: Come on please, get on with it.

Investigate the cultist cave.


As you approach the cave. Shivers go down your spine though it appears to be fairly lit.

Cultist: Get that intruder!

Fight the cultists and explore deeper into the cave.


???: At last, you have come fourth. I know what brings you here.
???: You've come to stop the spell.
???: YOU WILL NOT STOP THE CORRUPTION HUMAN!!!
???: I WILL CORRUPT BEINGS TO BECOME MY MINIONS
???: TO FIGHT FOR ME, FOR CONTROL OF WYNN
Corrupted Deity: I WILL LIVE ON AND DESTROY!!!!

Corrupted Guards began to attack to player.

Open the door and master the parkour.


Upon completing the parkour.
Corrupted Deity: CoMe FoUrTh mY SeNtInEl!!!!!!!!!!!

Mini-boss: Chaotic Mercenary
Mob type: Witherskeleton
Helmet: Bloody villager head
Body: Iron Chestplate
Leggings: Iron Leggings
Boots: None
Health: 456

After killing the Chaotic Mercenary, he drops a Strange Ring
Strange Ring Stats:
+18 Health regen
+4 Soul point regen (or something like that)

Corrupted Deity: NOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Corrupted Deity: WhAt iS iT yOu WaNt fRoM mE?
Corrupted Deity: OH, TO UNDO THE SPELL?
Corrupted Deity: HAHAHAH, YOU'll HAVE TO FACE ME HUMAN

Leave that chamber and open the door, enter the Corrupted Deity's boss room.

Corrupted Deity: I WILL CRUSH YOU!


(Upon killing the Corrupted Deity)

Corrupted Deity: NOOO!!!! ARGHHHH!!!!



Corrupted Deity Stats:

Mob type: Villager Zombie
Quick thing: Lava particles and witchMagic particles emitting from Corrupted Deity
Special attack: Launches coal block towards player which explodes dealing damage.
Health: (Gamemasters decide)
Armour and stuff: (Gamemasters decide)
Drops: Scroll of Undoing

Report back to the Rancher.


(Upon talking to the rancher with the scroll)
Traumatized Rancher: So what info have you gathered?
Traumatized Rancher: Oh my...
Traumatized Rancher: Well I can use this scroll, very simple dark magic but sometimes chaotic and scrolls such as this can be hard to obtain...
Traumatized Rancher: Perfecto!!!
Traumatized Rancher: Everything should be back to normal in a few more weeks.
Traumatized Rancher: Let me dig out some rewards for you...
Traumatized Rancher: Here we are, thank you for your help!

Heck ton of exp (gamemasters decide)

1 Cowhide Helmet (Stats gm decide, Quest req: The Ranch bleh blah)

Ninja'd by Glitch, but I'd just like to say that I'm wondering why this is a Level 38 quest; Even though the Time Valley mobs have an abnormally large amount of health, Level 38 already has a long, expansive quest in Rymek, which is pretty much on the other side of Wynn.

 

Good idea, they don't use that part of the map for anything so it would be great for there to be a quest there!

Thanks for the comments and opinions guys. I guess it kinda is somewhat crappy. I think I should think about a better and easier quest maybe in Rymek?
