[quest] The Book Of Death (+19 Supporters!)

In the following post Ill present you a new Quest Idea
that I had been working on these days...

THE BOOK OF DEATH
PART 1

The Dialogue:

Start: Speak with Rak'Jal at [-830,64,-5298] (More or less):​

- Low Level Message:
[1/1]Rak'Jal:*Sniff* She was so young... Hey, why are you staring at me? You have to be at least level 64 to actually do something useful here! *Sniffle*
- Stage Message:
[1/6]Rak'jal:*Sniff* My wife... She has died! I-I can't believe this... Please, adventurer, help me with this, I can't live without her!
[2/6]Rak'Jal:W-will you help me? Thanks so much! I will finally be with her again!
[3/6]Rak'Jal:What you have to do is very simple, we are making a book, The Book Of Death.
[4/6]Rak'Jal:This book has the ability to resurrect the dead. If I use this on my wife, she will be alive again!
[5/6]Rak'Jal:Okay, we will need a few ingredients... First off, we have to get the leather from the robes of Granhalm. He was a dark wizard who was consumed by his own obscurity. People say that he now lives at the cementery just north from here.
[6/6]Rak'Jal:Bring me back[1 Piece of Dark Leather]to continue making the book. Good luck, Granhalm is known for his immense power.

[Quest Started: The Book Of Death Part 1]

STAGE 1
Go to the cementery at [-921, 64, -5619] and bring [1 Piece Of Dark Leather]
to Rak'Jal by killing Granhalm.​

Granhalm will be inside a cave, with violet and dark crystals.

• HP: 856
• HP Regen: 43
• Description: Cave Spider
• Elemental Damage: ✤ Earth
• Elemental Defense: ❋ Air
• Elemental Weakness: ✹ Fire, ❉ Water

- Granhalm: Lvl 72

• Damage: 356-400
• HP: 1500
• HP Regen: 100
• Description: Dark Robes with a Pigman Head. He carries a Staff
• Elemental Damage: ✹ Fire
• Elemental Defense: ✹ Fire, ❉ Water.
• Elemental Weakness: ✦ Thunder

Once he has been killed, he will drop one piece of Dark Leather. Then, you will have to return to Rak'Jal.

[2/4]Rak'Jal: So, we hAve the cover... Now we need THe paper!
[3/4]Rak'Jal: Just follow the river east from here, you should find what we need.
[4/4]Rak'Jal: Bring me back [9 Diseased Sugar Cane] for making the paper. Shouldn't be too hard for you.

Once you have collected the [9 Diseased Sugar Cane]:

[2/4]Rak'Jal:Now we need something to hold All of thIs. We need stRing.
[3/4]Rak'Jal:Not normal ones, of course, we need[Void Strings].
[4/4]Rak'Jal:Those can only be found by killingVoid SPidersat the nest they hAve made more or less where the dark hand emerges from the earth. I don't kNow who summoned it, but nothing good is there.

Also, thanks for the support, I may do the second part in some days. Furthermore, I'm planning to paste this part with the second, as this quest is soooo short. But it"s just an idea ;)

 

How you managed to fit in "YOU WILL DIE HUMAN" into the ending text.

 

Hahaha, Well it was just trying to fit Human and die, the other 2 words are used commonly in english :3

Hey this sounds like it has some real potential! The story is very unique, I like it! There are some spelling and grammar errors, but with a little revising it should look great!

Pretty good for a quest that someone isn't applying to GM with.

Pretty damn cryptic... The messages... Fucking gave me shivers. This is coming from the person who didn't flinch during Battle Royal.

 

All of these mobs are underpowered, mainly their HP. 800 hp wtf. I can two shot that with a basic attack.

Uh, strange. I looked the wiki lvl 60s Mobs and they all have this health and damage. Weird :^(

 

Now normally I don't like quest suggestions, but this one I LOVE :)

My one complaint is that it is one of those grindy quests (ToL, Ultimate Weapon, Mushroom Man,) but this one is short, and that's what I like about it.

 

Is not grinding at all.
The first part you have to kill a boss in a special cave.
The second part yiu have to get the Sugar Canes by killing some mobs, but you have to explore.
And finally, you have to kill some spiders, but no worries, they drop is 1:2 ( each 2 spiders, 1 string )
I personally think that is more like exploring and getting in contact with the horrible hand.
Anyway, thanks for your opinion! ^^
