    spd 3 blindness disabling jumping slowness and easy 1 shots aren't exactly balanced..

    Well, in pvp archer does need a nerf. it is really over powered because of it high dps and mobility the other classes don't stand a chance.

    Assassin can do all those too, so that might need to be nerfed again, archer has nothign wrong wit hit, you just can't get cloe enough to kill it, plus the guy you were fighting, had a better bow

    /start sarcasm So obviously mage should be nerfed cause it can straight up just teleport.
    So Mage should be nerfed 'cause it can also do this.
    Warrior and Mage can do this too, so obviously they should be nerfed. /end sarcasm
    Easy to one shot, easy to be one shot.

    Archer isn't unbalanced at all.

    Balance is not achieved just be looking at a single class. It's looking at it's strength and abilities compared to other classes and what it's up against. If you took into account of what the other classes are capable of, Archer isn't unbalanced at all.

    lol ok I have compared it to the other classes it is very broken compared to warrior, strong compared against assassin and mage.

    Assassin does a crap lot less damage than an archer does, unless you're using the best grimtrap in the world. Archer is also long range, while assassin isn't.

    It's not exactly easy to one shot an archer when it had escaped to some stupidly high roof which every other class can't get to.

    Archer does not need a nerf because it has the most crap defense in the game and takes EXTRA damage due to it haveing 40% less defense than assassin.

    You see, people only look at damage an archer does. What people claiming archer needs a nerf fail to understand, is that it has absolutely horrible defense. And a lot of the spell's effects, Mage can do as well. If there is any class that needs a nerf, it's Mage.

    Pardon the language, but Archers don't do shit to Warriors. I should know, as my main class is a Warrior.
    Even before War Scream, we have the defense to easily withstand an Arrow Storm unless it is at point-blank range, in which case we simply kill them. If they have relocated to someplace high up where it is hard to reach, War Scream is a long range attack with high knockback. Scream and knock them off, then Charge to quickly close distance and then kill them.

    All classes are unbalanced when played correctly, they just focus on different things. Archer and Assassin are mobile and high DPS classes, which is why they are the most played until recently. But all classes can counter each other in some manner, you just need to know how to play it properly.

    If you believe a class is unbalanced, play it for yourself. Playing a class yourself is the best way to see what its weak points are. I have played Archer myself, and I know that if you disrupt their positioning or force them into close range, then they simply die because of their immense lack of defense.

    Next time, please look into the subject more thoroughly before making a thread. This will both spare you from toxic or spiteful comments as well as keep the forums a better place.

    It's interesting. PvP wise, I think an air archer is insanely OP.

    PvE wise, I think Mage is insanely OP, lemme say why for each.

    PvP: since intelligence is currently broken/disabled, this means that by far the most mana efficient and fastest mobility belongs to the archer, who with a good air build will simply be unstoppable.

    Defense/mobility.
    Yes, archer has low defense, but for example a guildmate, bliss, has 130-ish% walk speed and 130-ish air, giving him an 80% dodge rate on what is already an unhittable playstyle. Mainly, this means it's insanely hard to hit an archer. The Mage meteors delay is too slow, the archer doesn't stay in place NEARLY long enough for multihit/smoke bomb to do anything (regardless of dodging 80% of the multihit), and warrior cannot get close enough to this type of archer. In summary, the combination of a high dodge rate and high walk speed essentially makes the archer unkillable and extremely mobile. IT MUST BE NOTED that if intelligence is fixed, this will need revision as other classes mobility will be far better.


    Damage:
    An air archer's damage is extremely high, and can usually do half you health up to over a oneshot, depending on level, weapon etc. this is based off being repeatedly oneshot by my guild mates when I had 10k health and 55% defense, no elemental defense applicable to the situation. Another major thing the archer has going for it is its long range, accurate fast damage. The fact that bomb arrow is fairly instant with high accuracy, it makes it a lot easier to hit moving targets.

    In a meta filled with very high damage builds, archer's speed allows it to dodge said damage, while dishing out its own.

    Not sure what else to write here, that's essentially it.

    PvE:

    I'd like to argue that PvE wise, Mage outclasses archer

    Mobility:
    While Mage's mobility is still below archer's in PvE, the fact that intelligence works allows for ALOT more teleportation spam, and the ability to dodge far more attacks from mobs. Especially since Mage's teleport blinds/damages mobs (not players, so not applicable in the nether) makes it far easier to fight groups/bosses.

    Heal: heal isn't as useful in the nether due to rarely having the mana to cast it, along with being usually oneshot. However, in the normal world, where mobs will rarely do over half your hp, heal comes in FAR more handy, usually guaranteeing that you won't ever die, as long as you pay attention.

    Damage:
    Mage's damage is far better in the normal world, being able to hit much larger groups of mobs, and possibly for more damage. A major reason why the meteor is far better for PvE is because in the nether, players are usually on the move, and far more difficult to hit. However, in the normal world, mobs move far slower than players, and meteor will reliably hit the mobs, allowing for a higher over all damage output.

    In summary, Mage is an unkillable God in normal wynncraft, due to heal being more relevant and meteor being more accurate


    Archer wins nether because it can accurately hit the high damage low health builds, while dodging the damage.

    Mage wins normal world because the damage taken is lower an Mage can heal it away.

    I can say, mages are slightly better at Pvp in my opinion. If they keep teleporting, no one can hit them.
    Gotta love autocorrect. "Them" became, the mem, theme, and then.
