Lock

So many times i have accidentally dropped the wrong items... including my bow while fighting, and my horse in a hopper. I believe this problem can be fixed by having a lock merchant. To buy a lock, just go to the lock merchant and buy it for I would say around 32 emeralds. Then, like powders worked before the update, you can combine it with your weapon in the crafting grid. Then the item will not be allowed to leave your inventory, and if it tries to leave, there will be a message as a reminder that that weapon is locked.
Haven't really thought of an efficient way to remove the lock, but i don't think that would really be that hard.

 

Please search for the thread entitled "Item Locks". We are already pushing for this good idea.

 

Or maybe you can change your drop key to "m" or something.
