Website & Forums New Prefix+quest: Going Your Way

Welcome, fellow Wynners! I have two ideas to help benefit Wynncraft. First thing is this:

New Forum Prefix: Quest
If we want to make a quest (Which I do) there should be a prefix for that.
Now onto my other idea


Quest: Going Your Way
Level Min. 85

Task #1
Talk to High Priest in Tesead, next to the bank.
[High Priest] (1/10) Welcome, traveller.
[High Priest] (2/10) I have heard a lot about you.
[High Priest] (3/10) You have done many heroic acts.
[High Priest] (4/10) Yet at the same time, some of your acts haven't been very heroic.
[High Priest] (5/10) I heard a poem once.
[High Priest] (6/10) "The good and evil walk a different path."
[High Priest] (7/10) "Never the middle road."
[High Priest] (8/10)So it is your time to make a choice.
[High Priest] (9/10)Take the high road or the low road.
[High Priest] (10/10) Talk to Alagarde when you made up your mind. He is near the item indentifier.

Task #2
Talk to Alagarde, still next to the item identifier.
[Alagarde] The Priest told me about you.
[Alagarde] Have you made your choice?
[Alagarde] ...
[Alagarde] My hearing isn't the best, so I'll give you both of the options.
[Alagarde] If you chose the Good Path, the high road, then go back to the Priest.
[Alagarde] If you chose the Dark Path, the low road, then talk to Amesae, next to the Junk merchant, outside of town.
[Alagarde] I'm going to rest, I'm starting to get dillusional.
[Alagarde] I don't want a pony, Horse Man.

Hi! Aaron again. I wanted to say that this is where this quest goes crazy. On this post, I'll make the Dark Path. In another post, I'll make the Light Path. Anyway, here is the dark path.

Task #3
Talk to Amesae.
[Amesae] So, you want to join the dark side....
[Amesae] We have cookies!
[Amesae] They're oatmeal raisin, but still.
[Amesae] Anyway, joining the Dark Side is harder than you think.
[Amesae] For your first task, do you remember the Light Plains?
[Amesae] You know, the one near Llevigar.
[Amesae] Yeah, I need you to get me 10 Axe Heads each from the three different tribes.
[Amesae] Remember, you did a similar thing with Detective Jackson.
[Amesae] Okay, get on it.

Task #4
Bring the Axe Heads to Amesae.
[Amesae] Good job.
[Amesae] Your next task is to kill something.
[Amesae] There's a... "thing" in the jungle.
[Amesae] It's name is "Yahya's Apprentice".
[Amesae] Go slay it for me.
[Amesae] And prove it.
[Amesae] Bring me "Yahya's Precious Mushroom".

Task #5
Bring Yahya's Precious Mushroom to Amesae.
[Amesae] Okay, one last thing.
[Amesae] Bring this Crystal to the High Priest.
[Amesae] Then you will be with the Dark Side.
*You have collected the Mysterious Crystal!*

Task #6
Give the Mysterious Crystal to the High Priest.
[High Priest] What do you have?
[High Priest] ...
[High Priest] Oh....
[High Priest] You shouldn't have brought this...

Your giving a whole entire new class as a reward???!?!?!?!!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!? Nice text and stuff, but maybe add some puzzles or something. Wynncraft tries to avoid, talk to dis guy, go kill dis thing, bring dis to me. If you really want a class as a reward, you might want to add onto this

 

Thanks for the advice, I'll try and implement some puzzles in the Light Path when I make that.

 

1. We used to have a quest prefix, it got removed for some reason. For now use the World prefix and say it's a quest after that.

2. Why Gaster, if you're going to do something like that change the name a bit like in Lord of the Clock.

3. Mob stats aren't detailed enough. Try something like:
Mister Gaster
Level 85
500,000 HP
### Regen (The amount of health the mob regains every 10 seconds)
### Damage (That's not how attack works, try using this as a basis)
There is no defense in mob stats
AI? Does he shoot stuff? Is he melee? Will he charge at you? Will he run away when hit?
What does he look like?
Spell?
Elemental damage, defense and weakness is all right, but if you want to use the proper symbols...

✤ Earth
✦ Thunder
❉ Water
✹ Fire
❋ Air
