World Reduce Lag

Well, time to say some ideas to reduce lag! (Idk why i don't do it on an other post.)
Why not reducing the max chunk load per player? I have seen some servers (Modded ones, 180 mods more or less) and i can say that it perfectly worked. Just an idea, but I think that the Wynncraft Team have already thought it xd.

To me, that's pretty sad. Eventually, I want to be able to donate, because I think this server really is worth it. Your game is one of the few that makes me WANT to donate, you guys really do work hard at this.

 

Wynn must cost a lot then, because a ton of people are constantly using xp bombs and there are hundreds of VIPs, undoubtedly bringing in a lot of money. Also, less lag= happy ppl= more ppl= more donors

Thats an exaggeration. The amount of people buying VIP and XP bombs isn't very high. If you think that you can fix the lag, go ahead. Have a try.

 

This is it...we have found the solution, all along it was right in our faces...we should reduce the lag.
(Ban all the mages that have high intell to spam meteor.)

The percentage may not be high but with so many people who play, a small percentage is still a lot of people

A thousands or more of people online at any time and probably hundreds of thousands of players isn't that many? Wynn is one of the biggest servers, behind only a few like hypixel, mineplex, hive, arkham and shotbow I think, that's a ton of ppl and a lot of ppl use exp/loot bombs usually and there are tons of ranked ppl

 

As Squidward would put it: "Don't encourage him! He'll never leave!"

 

If you think Wynncraft is too laggy (and I partly agree there is some lag occasionally) try a remake an MMORPG server with 0 lag, epic updates, a resource pack that doesn't lag, 0 movement lag, better armor ideas and textures, better weapon ideas an textures, and better pretty much everything else. Wynncraft is one of the best servers I have ever found and I don't like when people insult it because they are haters. I anything get optifine, lower render and particles, get better internet, or a better computer.

 

I never said wynncraft sucks, I personally think that it is the best server I have even been on (seriously). I just said they had lag issues after a huge update, which all servers had, and which everyone hates. I am not insulting the server. And the lag is (mostly) not fps lag and stuff with my computer, it's server related lag

 

It'd be really sad to see Wynncraft fall from lack of funding...man, that would suck so much...
