World Second Resourcepack

It should only retexture mobs and items so you can have the vanilla blocks instead of the reasourcepack ones. It should be downloadeble from your website. Also you shouldent be forced to dowload the reasourcepack in game so you can use this second one instead.

 

Well there is a reason why there is the texturepack...

 

some of the regions don't look good without the recourse pack for exaple in the shroom world there would be sponge everywhere instead of lsd blocks

 

Like Salted said, they wanted to make the game better, more functional, more of a different game. Also, the dirt slabs would be brick slabs.

I Enjoy the texture pack.
I don't enjoy that i had it never loads.

 

You have to have the texture pack because the game won't make sense otherwise, for example, wands are random blocks now. If you will play without the texture pack you will be holding leaf blocks and wooden slabs.

 

You could edit the texture pack yourself :)

 

I enjoy the resource pack.

I quite agree about how the blocks get retextured as well but...
It would look boring. The default minecraft blocks doesn't look great in Wynncraft...

And if you don't have that texture pack our weapons might change to other stuff like Blocks (for example, my wand if without the resource pack it would be an acacia wood slab.)

 

I do NOT like the new resource pack. It was recently updated to include all blocks and compared to my old pack, everything looks extremely dull. Builds lose depth, mobs lose clarity. It's not very good in my opinion. I love the models and new armor, but mandating a single pack for the entire world is...meh.

I understand the retextured blocks as well, however they only look moderately out-of-place until I find the time to edit my pack to include the new things.

 

If the block textures were removed, the world wouldn't look so good.

Look how awsume looked before the texture pack! also vanilla textures feel like minecraft but the resource pack feels like something else. Never used a resourcepack

 

You open the Wynncraft resourcepack and then replace the textures you dont like with the normal minecraft textures.

Uhm wait? You want to ruin a wynncraft expirience? Cuz I saw videos of wynncraft back in the days and playing without the models and textures is kinda boring... The textures make wynncraft better because it gives more accents to the MMORPG theme.

Wynncraft is SUPPOSED to feel medieval, magical, dark, and rustic.

 

I am not quite sure if you understand how the resource pack works. Under the textures from the official Wynncraft texture pack are blocks and items that would not be used otherwise (sponges are rainbow flashing, brick slabs are dirt slabs, daylight sensors are books.) The game would not make any sense whatsoever without the pack, and the terrain would be completely different.

The resource pack designers did not just take what we had pre-gavel and retexture it. It is a completely different game without the resource pack and there is no other way they could have done it. Sure, your 128x128 pack might look better, but trust me it will not within the context of the game.
