Wynncraft has a new Resource Pack with cool 3D weapons and sh*t for people who have beastly computers like me.

We have one problem, though.

Unfortunately, some people who play on old, outdated, or overloaded computers can have a hard time playing with better graphics and resources.

I've come up with a simple idea that would most likely take only a week or two to finish.

A side resource pack!

This side resource pack would take all the complex textures, such as font and 3D models, and make them more basic and 2D, like every other item.

But isn't there a different 3D model for every single weapon in the game?

No, there are just a lot. You'll start to notice some textures are copied from lower-levels to higher-levels, such as the Waves Raiser wand. Therefore, we could legitimately create every 2D texture in a week or two.

But how can one server have two resource packs?

In case you haven't noticed, the resource pack only activates when you log into a server, not the actual network.

So?

So, that means we can create or divide servers for the separate pack. My idea is that about 1/4 or 1/3 of the servers will be put into a new section called Wynncraft Lite Pack, or WCLP for short. The player limit will also be reduced to 40 players to cancel any extra lag, but only on the WCLP servers.

What are the pros and cons of this?

Pros are that it can provide a better Wynncraft experience for players with older and such computers, meaning an increase in player logging, so everyone can play Wynncraft at its best! Plus, Greedy Mr. Salted loves his money, so maybe we can also get a few new donators!

Cons are that it may take a week or two to create the separate pack, which isn't too long anyway. We may also need new creators for the pack if the others don't seem willing, but everyone wants to help Wynncraft anyway.

Okay, and what was the point of wasting 20 minutes of your life?

there is another con. the comunity would be split into the people with a good pc and the people with a not as good pc, because they are split to two different server networks
