Guilds Can This Be Update 14.1.0

Yea, I own HoL.
I've always loved guilds. I only just recently got owner, so that has barely anything to do with it.
I think it's really fun to run/be in a guild, and get close to people in my guild, and people in allied guilds.

 

Yeah, they're fun to have and good for the social aspects on wynn, but functionally they're... pointless ;-;


The HoL thing was a joke plz dun hurt me

 

There is no point of guilds when there is Gavel but when you become level 100 you'll feel the same thing you did back then when guilds were added and you were trying to get your guild to Tier 1.

By this logic all of Wynn is pointless. Just because they don't relate to the main point of the game doesn't make them pointless.

Players in 2014: OMG WE WANT GUILDS! WE NEED GUILDS!
Players now: Guilds are pointless. They serve no purpose and should never have been added.

It's just so frickin hard to please this community.

 

Right, every game in existence is pointless too. *Sarcasm*

What I'm saying is that the actual players do not benefit from guilds.
Do they get more xp? No
Do they give you in game money? No
Do they have an impact on the quests/story? No
Are they for getting people together and for fun? Yes

Guilds just don't have an actual use for the player or the game, and that's all I'm saying. But I do like guilds, because it's a nice way for people to socialize on wynn. Most fanbases/communities are a pain to please. One time they ask for something, the next day they don't like it. It's just how it really works, it sucks, but we can't just change the community. I don't want to start a bloody argument xD but everyone should have their own opinion on guilds.

 

Another little detail I'd like to mention for you guys. The wither that spawns to display the little bar on the top can be distracting. You can sometimes notice the particles it displays just appearing in front of you. Also, when a wither spawns, everything turns a little darker and a little more red. In Wynncraft, it flickers between normal and darker/more red. This is especially noticeable with the sky. Also, the XP bar at the top of the screen can be distracting. It can start to get in the way, and lag can cause it to suddenly disappear and reappear.

I'm a sucker for visuals, and I hope these can be fixed. One way to fix a couple of these issues is to switch to using an invisible ender dragon instead of an invisible wither. The XP bar issue can be fixed by allowing it to be toggleable through /toggle. Having it toggled off would fix all 3 of the issues.
