    Weapon of choice: Staff or Pole

    Abilities:

    Skill 1: Poison Dart
    Description: A poison derived from a plant found high in the mountains of Wynn.
    Effects (random effect from list):

    • Poison: Deals Earth based elemental damage
    • Slow: Deals Water based elemental damage
    • Blindness: Deals Thunder based elemental damage
    • Weakness: Deals Air based elemental damage
    • Attack speed debuff: Deals Fire based elemental damage
    Duration: 2/3/4 seconds based on tier
    Mana cost: 5/4/3 mana based on tier

    Skill 2: Leap of the Tiger
    Description: The monk leaps forward at the speed of a tiger, hitting the ground creating a small shock wave.
    Effects:

    • Tier 1: The monk leaps forward at the spot they are looking
    • Tier 2: The monk gains the ability to leap further
    • Tier 3: The monk causes a shock wave at a 4 block radius dealing Earth Damage and knocking enemies up 5 blocks
    Mana cost: 6/5/4 mana based on tier

    Skill 3: Spirits of the Wild
    Description: The monk calls forth the spirits of Wynn, summoning a wolf to their side.
    Effects:

    • Tier 1: The monk summons a single wolf (damage based off of fire)
    • Tier 2: The monk can summon a second wolf by casting a second time
    • Tier 3: The wolves will now cause a bleed affect
    Duration of summon: 20/25/30 seconds based on tier
    Mana cost: 8/7/6 based on tier
    Damage per wolf: 50/150/250
    Health per wolf: 5%/10%/15% based on your current health
    Bleed affect: 300 health per 2 seconds

    Skill 4: Iron aura
    Description: The monk fuses his and his allies' fists in a bond of stone.
    Effects:

    • Tier 1: Increases damage of all that are affected
    • Tier 2: Increased damage
    • Tier 3: Grants a tier increase to attack speed of affected
    Duration of spell: 3 minutes
    Mana cost: 12/11/10
    Damage increase: 5%/10%/15%
    Attack speed: +1 tier

    *All values are changeable to balance with other classes*

    Now to the elemental focus:

    -For a speed "monk" Air/Earth

    The idea behind this is to build similar to an archer with mobility, bringing swiftness to them so they may avoid damage and deal damage
    • Benefits
    • Agile
    • Sustainability through avoidance
    • Negatives
    • Low defense
    • High mana usage
    -For a tank "monk" Earth/Fire
    This build is to bring straight tankiness to the fight, guarding their friends in fights and keeping the boss localized
    • Benefits
    • Sustainability through high defense
    • Medium damage
    • Negatives
    • Slow speed
    • High mana usage
    -For a control "monk" Water/Air
    This build focuses more on being out of the fight and mainly using their "poisoner" ability to force debuffs and the Martial arts master to slow
    • Benefits
    • Low mana usage
    • High mobility
    • Negatives
    • Squishy
    • Reliant on mana for damage
    For a damage "monk" Thunder/Fire
    The idea behind this one is to be dealing damage while attempting to not be hit. Building into the thunder tree create the double damage potential.
    • Benefits
    • High damage output
    • Medium defense
    • Negatives
    • Can't get too close for long periods of time
    • High mana usage
    For a hybrid tank "monk" Fire/Earth/Water
    Based around being an all around fighter, creating a class with equal benefits and negatives.
    • Benefits
    • Medium damage
    • Medium mobility
    • Medium defense
    • Negatives
    • Would rely on a separate class for assistance on major quests

    Monks weren't these badass fighters with all these crazy abilities.



    They were men who gave up their whole lives for worship in the Middle Ages.

    Honestly, Wynn isn't even mentioned to be in a certain time period, timeline, universe or planet. I highly doubt it is Earth, due to Minecraft logic and the magic, its clearly Minecraftia or something of the sort, so yea. We still need to keep some logic. I actually highly agree with @PlasmaDragonite.

    Thing is, they do that because of their religion. Wynncraft's religions are different, therefore their religion could tell them to go out there and smack everything.

    Keep in mind that the actual warrior class has the ability to throw enemies into the air.

    Yet that is not their religion. Hell, Bovemists are probably some type of monk.

    If Bovemists(worshippers of Salted), are monks, then their religion is definitely not to fight.

    Alright, alright you got me there, but monks in Wynn, it just doesn't fit or appeal to me.
