A Emerald Conversion Feature In The Inventory!

A currency conversion system that allows you to just double cick your stack of emeralds and corvet it to a emerald block in case you are in the middle of a dungeon/quest/farm and want some inventory space.

I would really want something like this, but then again, you're not telling us how it would work!
Double click = Emerald Blocks
What if I want to convert Emerald Blocks to Emeralds? Or Liquified Emerald to Emerald Blocks?
How would that work?
Please give more information.

If you want to make a good suggestion, provide examples of the mechanics and maybe screenshots, or even a video. I don't think you realize that this would cost a lot of work to implement. Any issues that could arise because of this mechanic would need fixes as well..
And you aren't the first who came up with this idea/suggestion, trust me.

 

This removes the purpose of many minor towns. People go to places to convert emeralds.

Uh huh. So you're supposed to just magically turn your emeralds into blocks? Not likely. It's more realistic to have a transfer at a bank.
