So if you notice in the thanos bazaar, there is a station called, "This booth could be yours!"

The idea is, you pay 5 le to unlock this enderchest. Once you buy it you can open you're enderchest. From there there would be two options, either buy or sell. If you choose the SELL button you can put you're items that you want to sell in the chest. You also give it a price. (maybe there is a button to access you're bank) If you choose the BUY button, there will be a bunch of items you will be able to buy. When you hover over the item, if gives the stats and the buy price. When you click it will ask a confirmation. The money goes directly into the sellers inventory. There can maybe even be a bid option.

Dungeon Realms was a Minecraft RPG server that had potential but it was too grounded into Minecraft and now it has a very small player base, who, naturally, hate Wynncraft. Dungeon Realms has a shop system where you can sell items through chests. I was just completely reminded of it just now.

The idea seems okay... its just that there will be issues such as:
    1. Putting items in the seller's inventory when they are offline
    2. Putting items into a full inventory when the seller is unaware of someone purchasing
    3. Having enough space to see all items being sold by the community

    those are easy fixes.

1 and 2 could be fixed by the seller getting the money next time they open the chest.

3 could have multiple pages. Ive seen chest systems and stuff where you use prismerine (pointing left) and feathers (pointing right) for buttons to different pages. Or ferns (pointing up) and hoppers (pointing down)

My concern with this is that one of the main advantages to shouts is to be able to broadcast items players want to say to the entire server. By adding another way to advertise your items, shouts become rather useless (other than to say random things, for instance).

You could just have an auction/buy/sell system that is based in the three major cities:
    Detlas
    Cinfras
    and
    Llevigar

You go there and talk to an NPC that bring up the menu for the system.
    the menu includes:
    Buy
    Sell
    Auction
The Buy/Sell tabs can have a filter option based on:
    Price
    Rarity
    Name (A~Z) (Z~A)
And the auction tab could have pages for each auction currently on the market.
    These could be sorted by:
    Time left
    Rarity
    Minimum bid
    Name (A~Z) (Z~A)

That's my two cents, that would be a way to not copy anyone and hold a unique aspect to the system that isn't chest based. Course you could go the basic aspect and do global chat auctions XD.

well im not rlly allowed to buy gold coins everyday so you're assuming that everyone has shouts available. 3/4 of the shouts are useless crap and puns

Well, what I was saying is that part of the reason people buy shouts is to be able to show the entire server their market. If they could do this in game without spending money, then that removes a ton of incentive to buying shouts. As you could imagine, I doubt the owners would do this because it would hurt revenue a bit.

I do like the overall idea of some way to trade across the whole server though; however, it is hard to see a result without some detriments.

I agree with this idea though it does need a little polishing up in places.
    1. Limit the amount of items that can be on sale to maybe just one small chest, or even less, to save on computing power.
    2. Don't allow people to search by item name/level/etc, but only by username of the shop owner, so that the Trade Market is still useful.
    3. Don't allow bidding, it seems unnecessary to implement it ingame when the forums serve the same purpose.
    4. Lower the minimum level to 20 or so, but make it so you start with only one row of space then pay more as you go along to unlock more slots, like a bank.
    5. Make the money go to a dedicated storage section in the shop instead of directly into the inventory so you can collect money when offline.
I rarely see people use a shout to advertise items, mostly it's need help/looking for party/random stuff. Although if that is a real concern then I think my suggestion number two should cover it.

That is a fair point, at least now. Before the Gavel update a few weeks ago, shouts were very often used for trade purposes; however, now with a more complicated item and skill build system, I'd imagine it is indeed far harder to sell items via shouts and, as you said, justifies an easier alternative to displaying trade as you suggested. Well argued for.

I really like this idea because of a few reasons because now the world size has been increased by over %100 Detlas has kind of lost his actual trading idea, I mean there are way less people there so you can't just scream: "Anyone selling Wands?"

This seems excellent. Using the "trade market" section of the forums works, but it's sluggish. This seems like a much better system.
    ________________________________
    1. I agree.
    2. Why do we need the trade market to be useful? If this is a better system, why cling to an archaic one?
    3. I agree with no bidding, but for a different reason. Once again, there is no reason for the trade market to be useful.
    4. Yes, and you have to pay for EACH slot, and they ramp in price pretty quickly. This is extremely beneficial, so should cost a fair bit.
    5. Cool idea in general. Like instead of physical items, you just have a number of emeralds, and the emerald merchant allows you to withdraw in any denomination and deposit.

maybe limit the amount of items a player can sell at the same time to a maximum of 3 (i think even 1 or two would be good). this would not make the market section on the forums useless and would not put to much stress on the servers. for the buy system you could do multiple search options like the item or seller's name (by using the sign gui). then you could maybe also sort them for classes and with armor just for which piece (chestpiece boots etc.) it would also be nice to be able to sort them after different atributes like firebamage from high to low or xp bonus from high to low tc.
