Hey, can you please rework the horse breeding system? First of all, it takes a lot of money (6 L.E .for me) just to get 1 black horse out of two brown, and if you seek for a tier 3 horse, you double this amount PLUS you have 10% more chance to fail and get a brown horse again than succeed your breed and have a chestnut one. Meaning that even with two same tier horses, you have 80% chances (4/5) of failing (50% chance of same + 30% of failing, you technically fail your breed if you seek for a better horse but get the same) your breed and so you just throw all this money by the window. I know it shouldn't be easy to upgrade your horse but come on, it's just ridiculous. I think that failing your breed should be more rare, like a worst case scenario, than succeeding because even in real life it's more probable for an animal to breed an "upgraded" baby (Natural selection). Maybe switching the chances of succeed and the chances of failing or just change the chances a little thing like this:
-50% of getting the same horse
-15% of failing your breed and get a worse horse
-35% of succeeding your breed
So you still have most of the chances to get the same horse but you get a lot rarer chance to fail your breeding, bringing down the chances of overall failing to 65% (3.25/5) , witch is still a reasonable cap. But it makes the succeeding chances way better, getting them from 20% to 35% (1.75/5) witch is less than the half but high enough to not spend an extensive amount of money.
So I hope it's gonna get in consideration and also thank you for this incredible server :)

 

so what you want is to have a high chance to get something that some people will pay 64le for and you just want to make it easy because you used 6le to get a black horse? I think it is fine the way it is and it should not be easy to get a white horse.

 

It isn't just me, if you're saying that people can pay all this money to get a better horse, my system is far better because these people won't have to pay their 64 LE (this is a awful lot of money) to get a better horse. And the other thing is that, with the system in place, you have more chances to pay these 64 LE and still don't get your horse or getting a worse one. It won't be easier, in my opinion ,it will just be more fair for the people who dont have, continuing with your exemple, these 64 LE to get their horse upgrade. PLus you still have way more chances to fail your breed than getting a succeeding one.

 

The whole fun of horse breeding is when against all odds you win the lottery and get a better horse.

It's great how it is right now. I agree it should be reworked, in a different way. Not by decreasing chances or such, but creating a new way to get upgraded horses. I've been thinking about this when I got my first horse.
To revamp the system of horses, you should be able to train 2 horses to max level, to increase the chances of getting a better horse.
This is how I would see it:

Current Chances

• 20% chance of receiving a successful breed
• 50% chance of getting the same horse back
• 30% chance of failing and getting a horse that is worse than your current one

My Idea

• 20% chance of receiving a successful breed (+15%-30% if both horses are trained, if only one is trained, only +7.5%-15% of chances are increased)
• 50% chance of getting the same horse back (-15%-30% if both horses are trained, if only one is trained, only -7.5%-15% of chances are decreased)
• 30% chance of failing and getting a horse that is worse than your current one (Stays same, or maybe revamped)

Okay, I'm changing the suggestion here a bit, but to yours, I think that it's good the way it is, maybe different ways can improve the system. Mine is just an example of my perspective here, I can understand yours, that it should be A LOT improved, but yours is kinda overboarding the chances a little bit, or unbalancing if you may.
Anyways I'll leave it to others' opinions now.

 

Speak for yourself - I bought one brown horse and bred it with the free one to get a black horse.

 

people don't need to pay 64 le if they don't want to do so the reason people pay 64 le is because it is very hard to get and it is fast I'm sorry but I don't think your system is better in any way all you want to do is make it easy to get a white horse because you had to pay 6le to get a black horse

 

What is the point of getting a horse? There are several:
1. Bragging rights; I mean, who doesn't want to show off his or her white horse
2. Traveling quickly; White horses are pretty fast, much better than taking long walks everywhere.
3. Parkour - at least to some extent as horses can jump more than 2 blocks.

So basically all these points are only valid because of people's laziness or need to brag. If you're that lazy or vain you should pay that amount of le for it.


PS. Yes i am both lazy and vain and therefore payed money for the horse i have :P
