World New Type Of Ai

    Hello this is CBbros and I have an idea I would like to share, with the gavel update a lot of mobs got better ai and different ai. One of my favorite being the ai where the mob runs away as this is realistic. So let me get to the point, when I was fighting nagas today for the Shadow of The beast Quest I thought, "Hey wouldn't it be cool if all the regular Naga fighters ran away once their commander died"

    This brings me down to the basic concept of how it would work:

    This ai would be used for Orcs, Nagas, and any other group of enemy's that has a leader. Every group of enemies with this ai has a leader which is identifiable by a name like "Naga Commander" these enemies would be able to use spells and would have a lot more health than the mobs around them. There would be 1 Leader for every group of 10-15 mobs. Killing the leader would make the other mobs retreat like goblin cutters when they get low on health.

    Why you may ask, well this is for realism these groups of mobs have to be like a moving military force if they lose their leader they would retreat because their attack would fall into chaos. This is why this ai would only apply to non chaotic mobs, you would mainly see this sort of ai not in the dark forest or light forest, but rather in the swamp, around olux, and in the plains in front of llevigar.

    Well this is my basic idea please provide feedback so I can polish it up and make it a better idea.

    Yas.... YAS! I really like this idea. Also another guy asked for swarms to be put back since mob lag was reduced, so it would be col if that also affected swarms (If they were put back in)

    You do realize I was basing it off of this, I was trying to show that these leader mobs already kinda exist except they don't have specific ai for them.

    I like the idea. It sounds kriffin' great.

    Ever since Gavel was opened up, I've been waiting to see the new-and-improved AI. I was disappointed, as 99% didn't exhibit the advertised behaviour.

    I suggest that you shouldn't limit your concept to mobs that appear to have a leader of sorts. Maybe zombies could run to their buddies and regroup? Or bosses could run away from you when low on health? The possibilities are endless.

    This is pretty damn cool. It could provide strategy while fighting mobs.

    Well I would like to add this to the main idea but I would want to know if you guys like it

    Maybe the leader mobs could be in general bigger mobs if it were let's say a zombie. Just because I would imagine more unorganized mobs to have a leader that would not be mentally stringer but physically stringer.

    I think that it would be hilarious if this would be implemented! A smart way of dealing with swarms of "strong" mobs, and gives a funny effect c;
