World Ice Snake Spell

I've been playing as Mage for a long time now (lvl 64), and before the gavel update, the ice snake spell could be used to freeze mobs; now after the update you can't?! I don't get it, on the website, it says it'll freeze mobs for 2 seconds, but when I use it, it doesn't seem like it freezes them, they just keep walking like Ice snake is none of their business.

Spin attack, smoke bomb, warscream apparently, and ice snake all broke. Spin attack and ice snake are broken due to a patch in 1.8 that fixed potency 127 being an extreme negative of that potion; speed 127 was used for both spells.

 

I'm a assassin and i am really suffering about my Spin attack/Smoke bomb T-T

 

I wish they'd simply switch the effect to Slowness, seeing as extreme slowness freezes anything. Now that I think about it, why did they use Freeze Speed in the first place when slowness had the same effect?

 

Also when an archer used to escape and shift when you hit the ground it would do blindness to the mobs around you but no longer does it now.

 

yeah, all of the negative buffs in abilities are all weird and broken.
