World Llevigar Door Opening Change

Just a little idea, I think it would be more convenient if the door opened from the center rather than dissolving from the top. Not only will this allow quicker travel in and out, it would also look more natural in terms of how double doors open.
The door can also open from the bottom so it appears to be rising up like a gate. It's all in a matter of perspective, I guess.

 

Not a bad suggestion, it would be nice if this was added.

 

Maybe once the player has entered Llevigar once, they can simply press a button to be teleported in instead of waiting for the whole "Welcome...TO GAVEL!" gate opening sequence. It was epic the first time, now it's just a pain to wait for it to open...

 

It is a huge time waster. I tried walking over the mountains once only to find a barrier at the top.

Yeah, that would make a lot more sense. Right now it looks like the entire door is collapsing.

 

Problem is we really don't have anything like this programmed as far as I'm aware. So while it would be convenient it'd also be a lot of work for the devs.

 

How bad is waiting a few seconds for it to open? Besides, who even travels through that door besides the one time when you enter gavel? Buy scrolls :)

 

Well, yes, I do buy scrolls, but I always forget to bring scrolls to a city to get out of Llevigar, so I need to go the long way out every time.

 

Some people dont have enough soul points to use them all the time and if i remember correctly theres a quest in which you have to report to a person right outside Llevingar. What would work is something like the 2 entrances to troms tho

Isn't there restriction on using scrolls if you haven't visited a city? Couldn't it be also used for Llevigar's gate?
