It may be frustrating if you want to send emeralds to someone (as a gift, reward, or anything) if you can't be on at all times. Chances are you won't meet them soon. So why not a bank transfer?

To send a bank transfer, you would need to be in a bank (duh) and click on a new Bank Transfer Handler or a new-and-improved Emerald Merchant that has something to click on in its GUI. It would open something similar to the guild creation GUI, where you type in the name of the recipient player, and the nominal of emeralds, EB, and/or LE.

The steps in a systematic list:
    1. Click on a Bank Transfer Handler OR "Bank Transfer" button in the Emerald merchant GUI
    2. A GUI similar to guild creation opens, where a sign GUI opens and asks the player to enter the recipient's username.
    3. A new sign GUI opens, where you type in the amount of emeralds in emeralds.
    4. A new sign GUI opens, where you type in the amount of emeralds in EB.
    5. A new sign GUI opens, where you type in the amount of emeralds in LE.
    6. Yay! Finished.
It automatically removes the said amount of emeralds from your bank.
If there is no player named the way you typed in, there will be a message saying: There is no player with the name -insert name here-!
If the player isn't on you friends list or vice-versa, it will display the message: The player isn't on your friends list, or you're not on their friends list!
If you don't have enough emeralds, there will be a chat message: You don't have X emeralds, X emerald blocks, and X liquefied emeralds in you bank!
If you do have sufficient emeralds, there will be the message: Are you sure about transferring X emeralds, X emerald blocks, and X liquefied emeralds to -insert recipient's name here-? Type /yes or /no. You cannot undo!
If you except by running /yes, then it will display the message: Your transfer of X emeralds, X emerald blocks, and X liquefied emeralds has been sent to -insert recipient's name here-!
If you cancel with /no, then it will say: Transfer cancelled.

Once the recipient actually receives the emeralds, or the time you log on after they receive them, there will be the notification: Your transfer of X emeralds, X emerald blocks, and X liquefied emeralds has been received by -insert recipient's name here-!

To prevent spam (even though nobody in their right mind would spam you with free emeralds) you may only send to players who are on your friend list and have you on their friend list. You would only be able to send emeralds, EB, or LE, naturally.
    ---------
Okay, second part: What happens when you receive emeralds from a transfer?
Well, upon logging in, you would be notified in the chat: A bank transfer of X emeralds, X emerald blocks and X liquefied emeralds from -sender's name here- is awaiting you at the bank!
This notification will pop up every 1 to 5 minutes so you remember.

To get your precious emeralds, go to the bank's Bank Transfer Handler or an Emerald Merchant that has something to click on in its GUI. The emeralds will pop into your inventory! Yay!

    Paradoxical and Bliss like this.
