World Healing Stand / Hospital (hp Regen Suggestions)

So with the new update, the health regen got nerfed very badly to balance the game, so you have to buy health potions etc.
I don't really have a problem with this, only that out of combat, you still don't regen anything, which is really annoying.
I play with a friend who plays mage, so he can heal me out of combat, but without him I drank 1,5 potions just to get me almost full, because I would otherwise have to wait at least 15 minutes just to get it back. That's why I suggest some out of combat regen ideas:

1) Make it so regeneration gets way more powerful when you are out of combat for a certain amount of time (20 seconds) (can be discussed/changed)

2) Make it so you can heal yourself at a healing stand/hospital in a city or at certain places so you don't have to drink hp pots just so you don't have to wait 15 mins before you are able to go back into battle

3) Post your own suggestions down below in the comments if you have any!

 

Out of combat health regen really needs a buff. My healthcare bills are getting way too high :/

Yeah it is just too weak and eats your time or inventory space (potions)

 

The 2nd idea is the best for me. it's cool that you can regen your health in the city. this makes them more important. The most annoying part is the fact that he potions use up so much of your inventory space. especially with the -4 spots after this update. it should be good if we get bags where we can store in potions and bags for emeralds too ( we need way more emeralds in this update for buying potions and IDing, but yet we have no space to store them). Or make potions stack. with the rescource pack you could give any item the potion texture.

Will the hospital stand be sorta like the nurse in terraria?

I agree though, buying potions just to heal yourself out of combat is really annoying.

 

I don't really know the nurse in terraria, but probably. Maybe you can compare it to the pokemon centre in pokemon? Or just a healing machine, idk it can be anything ^^

 

The nurse is an nps, that when talked to, she charges you a certain amount of money (depending on how much damage you took, using the nurse is really cheap though.) and then fully heals you instantly.

Anyways, we don't mages running around charging by the heal so I suggest in MAJOR cities (Detlas, Troms, Llevigar & Cinfras) around the gates to the cities, Regen could be increased.

I think that this is part of a bigger problem, which is that health regen is still linked with Hunger (Mana). Outside of items that give you boosted Health Regen, you only regain health when your hunger is high enough like in vanilla MC. And since running still takes mana, just trying to travel faster means you won't be regaining health. If they got rid of this link and made everyone regen a fixed percent over a certain amount of time, then I think everyone would be much happier.

 

Yeah, true, the fact that you lose so much hunger (mana) when you run is also very irritating when you are travelling because you have to walk super slowly every 4 seconds of running and you cant use abilities when you run :/

 

Move to Canada. That or implement free healthcare in wynn and gavel.

I definitely support the out of combat regen. Im level 75 on 4 classes and having to sit there and regen 3000 health with a regen speed of about 3 health a second is pretty ridiculous.

Perhaps health regen could scale with a players level to compensate for the larger health pool as well as higher damage values of mobs as levels increase?

 

Ah ok, it doesn't have to be a major city, it could also be in some other places where you need it or in places where there is no major city nearby

 

how about a inn where you pay a bit of E based on how much of your current health/max health.
-tp you to a room
-get full health back.
-can be found in most places like: troms, detlas, nemract, nesaak, almuj and/or places with friendly npcs like jungle village (and those other places in gavel).
