World Easier Travel To Gavel

This could be a minecraft bug, or server lag, or maybe even both, but right now boat travel is near impossible since it always bumps me back like 200 blocks and chunks don't even load in. There should be a walkway path over to Gavel, avoiding all the water. To balance it out, the path should only be unlocked after doing a quest, maybe like a level 45 quest. The path should be against the world border by Ragni, if you know what I mean.

 

There are two quests which unlock airship travel from Detlas to Cinfras and vice-versa. In the meantime, get teleport scrolls.

Yeah, to get the teleport scrolls you need to travel across the sea FIRST.

 

Let's compare this to how I got to Gavel: walking across the landwall.
Which is not a good idea.
Trust me.
A path would be boring af.
I had to walk across a boring-ass landwall for 25 minutes. And that actually has more interesting terrain than some even more boring-ass flat walkway sticking out of the side of the mountain.
You do not want a pathway.
Trust me.

 

And don't forget it would put a ridiculous strip in the map...
Also, because of the mana regen debuff, it would be awesomely slower than boat travel... because you'll have to wait every 100 steps for mana regen.

 

im just over here like "I've walked the gavel wall a good 5 times now" and im a lvl 80

 

I used the landwall to regen mana, I used escape spell over most of it.

 

I was a mage, and the landwall really messes with your line of sight with Teleport.

 

Wait 25 minutes? I took the landwall from Katoa Ranch to Gavel and it didn't even take ten minutes.

 

What class? The terrain was really rocky for me and as a mage who does not invest many skill points in agility, I had trouble.

 

I was also using mage but I used a horse because they can run over blocks so it was way faster
Also I had an archer friend so that helped

 

Ah. Horses were bugging and lagging out so...


It didn't go well.

This is a stupid idea. You just want to walk to Gavel?

I went there twice without TP scrolls. The second time was on boat, and I had the same bugging problem you had. But I made it from selchar to the gate eventually.

The first time was before gavel was out (stupid me) so I just kind of camped at the volcano islands before I died. That time I rode a 10/10 black horse on the land edge. I died to a crystalized zombie or whatever it is called. :(

Stop complaining. We all had to get there the hard way. Suck it up

 

That's evil...

 

Step 1: Take your time and travel there with boat, no matter how laggy are they, you will reach once. (If you are archer, use escape spell, that's what I do)
Step 2: Once you are there, go to Llevigar and buy 2 backup teleport scrolls
Step 3: You can always return there using those scrolls.
Step 4: Profit
It's that easy! Don't be lazy to travel. :)

 

How to get to Gavel:
1. Buy boats for 4 Emeralds. Pros: Cheap. Cons: Laggy and Slow.
2. Buy Llevigar Teleportation Scrolls. Pros: Instant Travel. Cons: Costs 1EB to buy, and 1 SP to use.
3. Do the 2 Quests "Acquiring Credentials" and "Flight in Distress" to unlock fast travel. Pros: Free. Cons: Requires you to go to Detlas / Cinfras to use.
4. Walk around the edge of the ocean. Pros: Free and Non-Laggy. Cons: Takes a long time and is hard to traverse.

I suggest staying in one province for an extended period of time to do their quests, instead of flipping between the two to do each quest they have.

 

The second quest is actually bugged.
