Companion mobs are quite a nice addition to Wynncraft, from the town guards to the more "hidden" mobs like the Pseudodragon. As much as I like those companions out in the wild I can't help but feel they are a bit useless and lacking.

For instance they can get attacked my yourself and other players by mere crossfire and they have a bit of trouble traversing the land, mostly in water, sometimes they will just walk into a wall and stay there. This isn't much of an issue but they seem a little slow and struggle to catch up to you sometimes. From my experience with the Pseudodragon they seem to do decent melee damage to mobs though they cant really catch up to the mob quickly.

Their mobility would be bearable if they could teleport towards you when out of a set range from them, the melee damage they do is alright but allowing some of them to do some unique ranged spells towards other mobs would be amazing, also if players could keep one of these "hidden" companions like the Pseudodragon as a familiar that could be summoned at any given time with a certain summoning item or allowing players to give the companions a specific item that could permanently befriend and allow them to follow you around that would be amazing.

Also a picture of the Pseudodragon if you haven't yet seen him around.

I found the companion mobs to be quite a bummer too, they follow you very slowly, and tend to despawn if you go too far with them.

It would be nice if you could "claim" a companion, and that it would function like a pet (but with hp) that attacks for you, and when it dies, it respawns at the place you found it.
