Health Regenerating Negatively?

Hi just noticing that when the sum of your health regen is negative you lose health over time I think this is a very serious problem....

 

Actually, that is not a problem. You can make builds using this concept, but it depends on your preferences.

 

Since the sneak peek video spoke of builds that made you lose health and need to attack mobs to survive, I think it's intentional. You can always use different items.

 

yes but I don't have life steal either

You do not have to always have your equipment on.

 

Then switch items. It'd be like having extreme negative elemental defense; if the cost outweighs the benefit, change that.

 

It's the only gear I have......

 

If you are too high level to easily get equipment, then you can either go to a lower-level place and grind equipment, buy equipment from others, or start a new save file.

 

I still think they could change it since this feature is highly in convenient in the case of people like me.

Try an armor merchant. Yes, their armor is vastly inferior to pretty much anything you'll loot, but if this is bothering you that much, at least get something to work with and go from there.

Out of combat won't change anything. Disabling it outside of combat is essentially asking to disable all health regen outside of combat. A negative number doesn't change that it's still technically "health regen."

 

Actually, armor merchants seem to have gotten much better wares this update. Still not amazing, but pretty good.

 

Check your armor stats before posting. This is intentional and not an issue; you are wearing a certain armor that takes down your health over time.

 

I could understand negative health regen items if they had really big upsides to compensate for it but they don't.

 

Yes the caspican and it provides no upside to compensate. The reason I made this thread is because I have checked my armor and figured that negative health regen OUTSIDE of combat was a bit weird as now I just slowly die and there is nothing I can do about it except take off armor that I spent a bunch of emeralds into or buy armor for a bunch of emeralds.
