With Gavel coming up, I couldn't help but think about the matter of getting from place to place between Wynn and Gavel, as many of us haven't completed all the already-existing quests. But then I thought it would be cool to have vehicles that would make travelling easier.
    1. Trains and Train Tracks
Train stations would be present in many cities and along certain roads. Paying a fee for transportation would have you swiftly escorted to the stop of your choice. Higher-level areas would be more costly, and you would not be able to ride to an unfamiliar location.
    2. Hot-Air Balloons and Airships
In some other towns and possibly in slightly more elevated climates, Hot-Air Balloon stations would be found. Paying the merchant standing next to them would give you a ride in the balloon, and even allow you to access air-exclusive locations for events and such.
Airships would be small boats that would be piloted through the sky. You could buy one for yourself or a slightly fancier one for your Guild. Crashing your ship would make it temporarily unusable, as it's undergoing repairs. The ship's size would affect its repair time, as a bigger ship would take longer to fix.
    3. Schooners
A Schooner would be a moving build of a boat (It worked with Ice Snake so what could possibly go wrong?) that a player could control up at the steering wheel. Different shops would sell parts to make Schooners faster, larger (room for more people and storage), and more aesthetically pleasing. In short, this would basically be a regular boat, but cooler and more customizable.
    Questions
    1. LAG
Lag could be reduced by having separate worlds for train-riding/boat-driving/flying sequences.
    2. What about Horses?
Most of these machines would not be readily accessible everywhere, as you'd need harbors/docks for boats, stations for airships and balloons, and train stations for everyone's favorite locomotives. Horses would be readily available for use in your inventory, so they would be better in terms of convenience.
    3. Level Requirements?
I'm thinking that certain locations would only be accessible after specific Quests, reaching the required level, or finding a special item.
    4. Guilds?
I think that Aerial Guild Battles and Naval Guild Battles would be fights between Guilds on Airships or Boats that would involve players running to and firing different cannons on- and below-deck. Hitting a Ship enough, killing all of its crew, or making all of said crew fall out would result in victory. Spells and weapons would be nullified so Assassins can't fly/sail in close and use MultiHit, Archers can't use Arrow Storm or Bomb Arrow (or Escape onto the other Guild's vehicle), and Mages can't break everything. However, having people of different classes and of different levels would allow different weapons to be built and attached to the vehicle.

    One More Thing
    GUILD HALLS
A Guild Hall would be a cool base where you and your comrades would live. They could be floating islands, underground caves, undersea colonies, or maybe even alternate dimensions. The size of the Hall could be increased by purchasing different Tiers. Also, Guild Raids could be used to target Halls under certain circumstances (haven't thought of any yet). In this situation, they would have to fight off the cannons, mobs, and players that would deny them access. In case of victory, the invaders would get money, XP, and possibly the ability to receive a share of the losing Guild's XP, much like how earning XP in land owned by a Guild gives XP to that Guild. This would go away after a while, however.

That's all I've got. Tell me what you guys think, and make sure to READ IT.

there are already boat merchant in several locations so just use those to get to gavel. There have been several threads with ideas like this and all in all none have stood out for me. I'm going to have to down vote this idea

Well, that was confirmed for Gavel like a year ago.
Anyway, it only takes like 15 minutes to get from one side of the province to the other. Boats are also quicker than walking so about the same for crossing the ocean. Besides, we already have enough types of transport. Horses are good for land, boats are good for water if you aren't lagging and scrolls and spells are good for both.

Also, you can go along the wall on a horse if you need speed. Because the ocean has that outer wall. Using this you can ride along it faster and cheaper than by boat.

I find that hard, though if you can do it that's fine. And look at the thread in this section titled 'Full Gavel Map' and look for Cinfras. That's Gavel's version of Detlas and the Guild Hall is right behind it to the east on a mountain.

Need to easily traverse the a short part of the province? Use your Movement spell (Assassin's gain natural speed 3 at Grade 3, and Archers give speed 3 at Grade 2)

Want to get to a town on the other side of the province? Use a TP Scroll. Can't afford to use TP Scrolls? Use a horse.

Want to get to Gavel? Use a boat (or climb around the edge) or get someone on the inside to give you a TP Scroll.
