Are The Upgraded Horses Worth It?

Simple question, Are the upgraded horses worth the massive cost?

 

depends really. if you main as a mage, a horse isn't a necessity as you can teleport with ease. however, a horse is nice cause you don't have to actively engage in moving but instead you can just hold down the 'w' key. but if you are say an assassin and do not have a movement spell, a horse is really useful. in my opinion, buying anything above a chestnut horse is just for show. sure you can go really fast but is that really worth 64 LE? no probably not. i think white horses are just a symbol of wealth. its like owning a Lamborghini. you probably just have it because it looks really cool and it is a symbol of wealth. though you can never actually drive it super fast because you will get pulled over. if you have 10 or so Le stashed away, a chestnut horse could be a good investment because not only do you get to go really fast, it isn't as expensive as the white one. and the white one doesn't go that much faster than the chestnut so i mean you are saving like 30le. the black horse is really cheap and useful for lower level players who can't part with 10 or so le. so a black horse is a great horse for someone who might not have the le or maybe is saving up for something else. to sum it all up, a chestnut is a great horse for the money but a black one works out too as it is relatively cheap

 

Simple answer, Yes. Next question, Classes have methods of quick travel, better than horses. (Unless you're an assassin, Haha!) Will you buy a horse then? Answer: No.

Horses are just more a social status symbol, and breeding a good horse does require a lot of money.

It takes about 50 LE (when I tried) I don't personally think they are worth it, being an archer we just use a combo of escape and running, since you can't use spells on a horse.

 

However, I have tested it with a friend. A 20/20 Black horse easily beats an Archer with Speed 3, The horse has the power to constantly run while even archers are hindered by their mana regen speed.

 

Archer's Escape spell's jump distance is dependent on the user's angle of direction. If you face your crosshairs 3-7 crosshairs away from the horizon on a plain, you'll be likely to achieve a far jump distance in terms of horizontal direction rather than vertical height. If that's been tested, lovely. I still laugh at Assassin's ability to travel slowly.

My Main class is Archer, I've mastered Escape and I love using it on the ocean, but compared to chestnuts and white horses, it's a peasant to the speed they possess. Especially since Gavel is teasered to have no Major body of water, only long tracts of land, a horse should be bought in preparation for the release.

I left cause not much was going on, Tantibus wasn't leading it anymore, and Spade wasn't really doing much either. I have my own guild atm now :p

Yeah they're worth it

 

Invest in a black horse early on (will take around 2.25le) and then after you max out your class and have enough (around 17le) breed yourself a Chestnut.

 

I'd recommend only using a Black horse. Brown horses are kinda slow, but black horses has a solid enough speed. I personally don't think a chestnut or a white horse would exactly be necessary because of how much higher they cost compared to the lower tier horses.

 

I don't know what is the point of this...

I can't live without my white horse tho. indeed mage tp is way faster but you run out of mana fast and then you have to stand still for a few seconds to let it refill. what I do is tp tp tp and then regen mana on my horse. you travel around the map in no time.

 

Uhh you do realize the average breeding cost of a white is 118 le so they are really really worth it if you think about it, then again if you are suuuuuper lucky u can use <10 le but gl with that heh! (Can't bother to find the post with math but I've seen the answer always be around this on numerous posts)

Meh I need my white horse because at 40/40 it's so much faster and useful for my ninja and when I'm lazy to charge on my knight lmao but I wouldn't recommend breeding for higher tier horses...just like try and buy them when you can bc the chances of you getting a better horse when breeding isn't that great ._.

 

I say upgraded horses are worth it. But they're just expensive and hard to obtain.

 

Just buy a white horse. I got a 40/40 for 40ish LE.
