Website & Forums Add "stuck?" Its Own Section In The Forums

Hello Wynncraftians!

This is just a suggestion. Just shooting stuff out there you know?
So don't go too hard on me if it's a bad idea, okay? ;)

Obviously, just having a stickied thread in the Wynncraft section isn't enough to keep the "HELP ME IM STUCK" threads at bay. Most people are too impatient to look at any specific threads that could help them before going straight to the section that would be the easiest to post in and say how stuck they are.

If players who got stuck could see a section immediately for their convenience then they'd click on THAT. But here's the catch. They would get redirected to this as soon as they clicked on the section.

It's not the best idea but it's something.


Or, we could always just endure the stuck threads and not go through the trouble of making a whole other section.​

 

I don't think a section dedicated to this will change anything. They don't take the time read the stickied thread, I doubt they would read a section dedicated to this.

 

Personally, I'd think it's just not worth it. It's own section would be sort of "pointless".
I'd suggest to add something like, before you make a forum account.
There are 3 options you can pick

1.) Ban Appeal
2.) Stuck
3.) Just A Member

Each will have a different default layout/guide.

1.) Ban Appeal

To continue, they'd have to make a forum account.

2.) Stuck
So, basically it would say:
/kill with 3+ Soul Points or use a scroll.

3.) Just A Member

I don't really think it will be that effective. There is a questions section, and yet people post questions all over the shop.

 

EXACTLY! I made this suggestion before 9/7 and I think I got a good amonut of sh*t for it, but I agree 100% (with both of you)

 

I made a suggestion back before 9/7 that when you post a thread the forums will automatically scan your thread and if it finds the word "stuck" it will say "Hello, you seem to be stuck in the game. if you have more than 3 soulpoints type "/kill" into the game chat and you will respawn in the nearest city." and if it finds the word "ban" it will say "Hello, you seem to be banned on the server to make a ban appeal read this first <howtowriteabanappeal.wat> after you've read that thread post a ban appeal here <jumla'ssexdungeon.hellno>."
