Website & Forums Wynncraft Mobile App!

My idea is that Wynncraft should set aside some of the money they make to fund the creation of a Wynncraft app which they can then the player could use to open an interactive map, post to the forums, get update notifications, and much more.
Also, I think this would be a great way for them to earn by being able to earn ad revenue off of the app and being able to use your apple wallet to buy in game items!

 

You can just go to the map or forums on a phone anyways.

 

That's true, but using the map from the internet on your phone is a bit buggy. The making of an app would also allow for people to have map that would be pre downloaded and not require the internet. Also, being able to earn add revenue would help the Wynncraft team be able to get a larger staff and work on projects even bigger than Gavel!

 

This has been suggested countless times before. An unofficial Android app already exists, but I don't think it is a sound decision to use resources on developing a mobile app when all of the features of the website work on mobile anyway.

 

There is (going to be) an official android app created by @D14m0nD which I was supposed to help test but my devices are shit.

Are you sure? I wasn't able to find it.

But I think most features (except for the map) work OK in mobile Browsers. But things like push notifications for forum alerts on watched threads and so on would still be great so in total I support this.

 

Like @YunoFuckingGasai said, D14m0nD current'y developing an android application for Wynn, but it's primarily meant for looking at stats and items, maybe there's more than that, but it has been a while since I read about the development. Confident that 9/7 removed the Wynn app thread.

 

Warning: There is a "Wynncraft App" on the Apple App Store, with pictures that look legit. @RainbowSherbert1 tried it, and says it's fake, and a waste of $2.

Hmm, I can analyze the PHP or HTML of the map and try to pass to an android or ios app, the only problem is that the user will need to login to have acces to the map!

Yeah, no. Do you have any idea of what you're talking about? You don't analyse PHP or HTML and then port it to a mobile app. The way you throw around Android and iOS also indicates that you don't know that both of those platforms have vastly different development standards.

 

Hey, to develop for ios you need a macbook and xcode with a license to develop, i domt have it! But i have a windows with android studio! I created so many apps for my pessoal use! At the andeoid studio you can do a html reader! Just shut up! If you want to participate please just say, you don't need to devalue someone to say this!
