For a guy who claims to be the best source of info and boasts about his thread on almost every post, you sure don't look into details....

Also, I love this idea! It's like Mystery Dungeon for Wynncraft! It seems fair and well-balanced!

 

umm... Sorry, can you please read what he said again?

He never said ANYTHING about the level of the mobs. He did not say they had to be your level or lower. Since he did not specify, we assume that it can be any mob, regardless of the level.

And as for your second part...

1) I do not claim to be the best source of info. I accept that sometimes I am wrong or do not have enough info. In those cases I do not try to give info. You only see me giving info when I know what I am talking about.

2) I dont "boast about my thread on almost every post". I only mention my thread on posts where it is relevent. Only on threads where the is some kind of connection.

I am sorry if I am sounding overly arrogant on the forums, but please double check what I say.

I was wrong. I re-read the post and realized I overlooked the last sentance saying that they will not join you if you under level them.

So CoW Bob and Death my not be the best examples...

But still, look at the Sand Witch or Chained Beast! They would be OP to have on your side!

Also, the post said you could not be under, did not say you had to be over. CoW is fair game!

What happens if they get killed? Can they be revived if so? Will we gain exp from their kills or a portion? How do we get them across the ocean, will they follow you by boat, by continuous tp, etc.?

What would happen if a quest boss (the type you can only fight once) asks to be cleansed. But you need the drop for the quest?

 

As I said before, bosses may be recruited, however they will cost double the amount to clean. You do not need the drop for the cleaning process. Also, as I said before, you cannot recruit anything above your level. This is so people aren't overpowered and have Bob's Reincarnation, CoW, or Death in their fellowships.

 

I am supporting this purely for reminding me of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

I think your level and the mob level should be in the factor.

Like, you cannot get a mob if you are under their level, not even 1% chance at it, to prevent some noob farmin mobs.
But as you level up, getting higher and higher level, the lower the level of the mob, the higher chance you have of recruiting them.
When the mob by chance dies it should run off to like.... a post or something, where you can pick them up again, of course, they should rest, but if you want them just as meat shields, then yeah, take them out at low HP.
Bosses should be possible, but you need to have RNGjesus's blessing and straight up Scrooge Mcduck luck to get them, just like in PMD. Certain mobs should take up more space than others too, to prevent boss swarms.

I honestly love this idea because it reminds me of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon so much ;u;

I don't think you understand my question. When a mob asks to be cleansed, does it still drop stuff? If not, what happens when you try to cleanse a boss who's drop you need?

 

I think if we pull a mystery dungeon, then you have to have killed the boss atleast once to recruit it.

Well, time to get the new Mystery Dungeon and get an Arceus!

 

I remember getting all the special legendary the first time I beat them... Did I do something special or I was blessed by the RNGod ?

 

time to boot up my old Gameboy Advance and do a full on reset on mystery dungeon red and finish it.

 

Love It! I'll love to have Death fighting alongside me. Makes it so much easier to go afk!

 

You should be able to set them to either defend you or to go after mobs.

Defending would make a small area and keep monsters away from you and will make them go after the mob closest to you, so if two mobs are coming it'll first attack the one the closest, then the one thats furthest, if the one furthest comes closer than the one closest then it'll go after that one.

Attacking would make it focus on mobs and not go off them until commanded to do so or until the mob is dead.

 

Love the idea...better go get my DS and start playing darkness to get that mewtwo again
