World Should They Add A New Bidding System Into Wynncraft?

WAIT!!! Before you say, "Oh, this is stupid. *click off thread*" listen to what I have to say. I know that Gavel is going to come out sooner or later, but when it does, I think it would be nice to have this new bidding system. When we have items, new or old, what do we usually do with them. We sell them to a merchant or to someone else at a high price. What if instead, you could put that item on a bidding mechanic, so that people all around have the same possibility to buy it. It could count how many emeralds you have in you inventory or bank and you can bid to try to get an item. This is for people who could want to sell end game armor or just someone that found a legendary weapon he/she (gender equality) would like to sell. Either way, if this is ignored or accepted, I would like to hear (actually I'm reading it) what you guys have to say.

New commands (if added):
/bid (of course)
/bid [amount] (ONLY IF YOU WANT TO BID MORE THAN IS NEEDED)
/auction [item name] [time auction will last] [starting price] [price increase amount]
/auction cancel
/auction extend (Only once if necessary)

 

This has been suggested a few times and I think it's a pretty good idea. However if you want serious critique on your idea you'll need some more details (eg how? where? commands? etc).

 

That´s a cool idea that would prevent people from spamming the Detlas chat (Which is usually filled with fun conversations) with offers, but... That´s kind of what the Trade Market is for.

 

I feel like having an auction like this is good, as long as it's not something that gets spammed all over the server.
I feel like there should be some 'auction house' window, that you can access through some command, where people sell their stuff. All the stuff being sold at that moment on the server is shown here, with the respective price which has been put by the owner.

I like Wynn as a story mode server, it does not need to slowly evolve into factions

 

I don't like this Idea, but tell you what -- how about you use the Trading market? It'll be quite nnoying, plus the people that will max it, giving nobody a fair chance.

 

So... An auction house? Sure!
