Class Paths...

This has probably been asked before but, i really like the idea of starting out as this basic class (mage, warrior, etc.) and then becoming a greater version of it later in the game or even one of 2 types.
Ex. : A mage could become a Pyro- or Cryomancer.
A warrior could become a Warlord or Guardian. And so on.


If anyone else thinks this might be a good idea please support it. I would really like to end up going from an archer to maybe a Sniper or some thing, getting more ranged accuracy and some cool new skills.

 

With the new Gavel expansion coming up it is going to be kind of possible, using elements to customize your charakter

 

Just gonna point out that those names and this idea are ripped right from Hypickle's Warlords game.

 

not really. i though of this more so because WynnCraft is an RPG server and (most)RPG's have branch classes/paths. and the names are just to make explaining easier.

Just gonna point out that the terms Pyromancer and Cryomancer existed long before Warlords was even created. They're not ripped off if it's a commonly used term anywhere.

 

then that's a coincidence because i literaly though of those on the spot (and yes i just realized that they're the class names from Warlords)

I know that, but it's not really that common of a term. Plus, those exact names for the Mage class, who has the same 2 different names on Warlords?

As @Ascended Kitten said, they already made a form of paths in Gavel. There's Earth, Fire, Lightning, Water and I think Air? Earth is brute, fire is tank, lightning is a fast attacker, air is scout and water is healing/spells.

 

The Gavel Expansion will allow you to hone your class into five different specialties, so just sit tight and see how that goes first.

I agree with the people saying these names are from Hypixel. You should use more unique names and common names like "Necromancer" or "Mercenary".
