Unenchanting Powder

Blah blah blah, new powders, blah blah blah.


A powder that takes away all enchants should be added, as its a really simple idea that only someone as brilliant as a pig could've come up with.






this is for those picky people who want everything perfect

and no, there wouldn't be a ID version of this as the market would be booming with adventure armor and nether armor, and mythic weapons

i have no idea if this would require effort or not, please don't complain about that

You do know that if you put a powder onto an enchanted item it'll just overwrite the previous enchantment right
There's really no reason to add an extra step to this process

 

He's saying that if you want to sell an item and don't want it with enchants, you could use this.

 

there will be new gavel powders....
so any idea about powder is now useless on the forums because they wont change anything now if they are working on gavel...

who said i want this to be added before gavel comes out? maybe it doesnt have to be a powder, but a rag or cloth of sorts that absorbs enchantments

 

if you want it after you see what they do with gavel do it then..
maybe actually they did a way of removing them for gavel...
i really suggest you wait for gavel if you want somethink to be changed if they said they are working on it already...

 

I'm not really sure what the purpose of selling an unenchanted item is though since the buyer can just put another powder on. It's not like IDs where if you ID it the buyer is stuck with what you get.

 

This would break the market :P

Well, I see your pov about how people would want to sell them with no enchants on it, and I see what TrashcanMan is saying about the overwriting of enchants.. I got to go with Goku's pov and I would go for the addition of a special powder that can remove enchants

I think that this could be a good idea, with people wanting to get rid of the enchant entirely before selling so it would be clean. All I want to add is that I think that this should be considered a "special" powder, with only one type instead of one type that's better than the original (not possible in this situation) and should have a lesser drop chance.
