Staked Duels

Staked duels! Before your duel you will see a trade inventory. You will win everything in the trade inventory when you won the duel vs the enemy.

Edits:
- Set the max amount of emerald blocks equal to your level.

seems like a fair idea if it happened you know they cant run away with the gear they promised you

 

Its not just about that. Its just fun to fight for a few emeralds. Then you actually win something! Makes duels more fun!

 

very true but if its a serious fight no one can back out of their bet (you should add a poll)

 

Include a "back out" feature, for one.

Now, this might not be a great idea. People would start getting spammed by others wanting to duel for money.

Ok, here's the big problem: Conning. Somebody could station a level 1(or something else) class in Detlas, along with a higher level class(like level 75), and then trick unsuspecting duelers into losing money.

 

That problem is called life. This will happen to dumb people only. You wont lose much on low levels because you don't have that much stuff yet.

 

That's bullshit. I now completely oppose your idea, if you're going to be like that. This idea is completely flawed, so either give up or rethink it.

 

What if they use the switch trick? Switching to a max level mid-duel can and does happen. You're gonna have to explain your suggestion a bit more and how to counter certain things like class-switching.

 

When you add a back out feature people will lose this when they are losing. When you see you are fighting to a higher level opponent just don't put stacks of liquids in the bet. Another thing you can do is set the max amount of emerald blocks equal to your level.
