It sucks, because we try to reply to a conversation that could've happened an hour ago, and we wouldn't know it.

The idea is simple: before any message, it will show what time the message was posted, which will adjust to your timezone. Example:

(10:15 pm) roboblock93: I like pie

If this layout doesn't work, it can be changed as needed. As long as it can show when a Shoutbox message was posted. With this idea added, we could really improve our precious shoutbox and make it even more wonderful.

Constructive criticism and opinions are more than welcome.
Edit: the timestamp should only be visible in the full page box.

Since the sidebar shoutbox is kind of crowded, maybe it could only be visible in the full-page shoutbox.

 

Or maybe not a timestamp, since then you have to actually look at the current time too. Maybe a ... Minutes ago, or ... M ago.
Just like threads have.

Starting to wonder how many votes a suggestion needs to be implemented. The Shoutbox community is not very large and it might be a problem, because of not many people using the shoutbox, let alone voting for this.

 

there is no corralation between the number of supporters to that chance it will get implemented, if the staff likes a suggestion the will implement it. the votes nd supports are just used to check if the community would like that suggestion.

 

I see what you mean, but I am concerned, as this idea can only get so many votes before the entire sb community has voted, leaving no more votes left.
