World New Currency

I feel like emeralds should be worth wayyyy less in gavel, and the Gavel currency should be diamonds. In the trailer it says they were greedy, and diamond is worth more to me.

32 EB = 5 diamonds

64 diamonds = diamond block

64 diamond blocks = liquid diamond ( swiftness potion )

This would make things harder and more interesting.

 

Dupers. You should continue this off LE, not EB. We don't need another currency. Emeralds are fine. Diamonds are already used in the game and those can be abused.

The currency is emeralds because that's what villagers trade for in regular MineCraft.

Have you ever been mining in MC? Emeralds are WAY more rare then diamonds.

 

So 1 LE = 10 Diamonds,
so 16 LE = 160 Diamonds,
so 64 LE = 640 Diamonds,
640 Diamonds = 10 Diamond Blocks

Plus, Villager currency through-out all of Minecraft itself is emeralds. Why should we change it?

And where do the diamonds come from? Why do the villagers want to use it as currency? Why does this make things 'harder and more interesting'? How can emeralds be 'wayyyy less worth' in Gavel if the villagers, originating from Gavel, go all the way to Wynn to hunt for emeralds? How would this affect the lore? Do we get some kind of new portal? Why should the swiftness potion be liquified diamonds if you can abuse the potion to get swiftness as a non-archer/assassin? Why would we get 5 diamonds per 32 EB if you can't divide 64 by 5? So many questions ;_;

Except you forgot the fact that according to the lore, Villagers love emeralds more than anything.

 

There's no point in complicating things; 1 currency is fine.

 

I think this should be:
64le-> 1 diamond
64 diamonds-> 1 DB (diamond block)
1 DB-> ld (liquefied diamonds)

If anything Emerald's should be worth more in Gavel, since it's the province of Villagers, who we all know are the greediest guys around.
