Welcome back, everybody! It's time for a new quest suggestion from your friendly neighborhood necromancer! Ready? 3, 2, 1, GO! This one takes place in a faraway island, nicknamed Terrislan. Terrislan was a great island, despite the name, with friendly villagers and helpful merchants and sailors. However, once every 13 years, a deadly storm arises, and strange creatures never thought to still exist start a massive war and damage most of the island. YOU are here to stop this...

Stages

Stage 1: Talk to Terri.
[1/5] Terri: Um, hello? Ah, hello! Do you think you could help me with a little... problem?
[2/5] Terri: You see, apparently we have a little... war? Yes, a war every 13 years.
[3/5] Terri: It's a Rein of Terror out of the blue! Fierce storms, deadly armies, everything!
[4/5] Terri: Perhaps you could speak with my brother, Slan. He knows a lot about this event.
[5/5] Terri: He's usually at our fishing shack, near the coast.

Stage 2: Find Slan at the fishing shack.
You seek around the fishing shack, but you find no clue nor sight of Slan.
Suddenly, you hear a voice.
[1/3] ???: WHO DARES TO AWAKEN ME!!! IS IT YOU?
[2/3] ???: NO MATTER, I'LL DEAL WITH YOU ANYWAY!
[3/3] ???: PREPARE TO DIE!!!
You are teleported to a water-temple-like dungeon.

Stage 3: Navigate through the dungeon while fighting Prism's Fossils and Prism's Flesh.
You find a crystallized room filled with diamonds and other jewelry.
[1/4] ???: WHAT CAN I TELL YOU?
[2/4] ???: I CAN TELL YOU YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE!
[3/4] ???: NOW PREPARE FOR MY REIN OF TERROR!
The ceiling starts to crumble, and a heavy thunderstorm sets in the temple.
[4/4] ???: TERRORS, ATTACK!!!
You are teleported to a 300-block bridge, broken on one end.

Stage 4: Run across the bridge to the sky elevator at the other side of the bridge while fighting Slay Terrors, Arch Terrors, Magic Terrors, Death-Bringers, Blood-Bombers, and Hellfire Spiders.
[1/1] ???: DIE NOW AND YOU'LL SAVE SO MUCH TIME!!!

Stage 5: Fight the boss at the top of the sky elevator.
[1/3] ???: SO YOU WISH TO FIGHT ME PERSONALLY?
[2/3] ???: HOW CAN I DENY?
[3/3] Repevious: REPEVIOUS IS MY NAME, AND KILLING IS FOR MY FAME!

Stage 6: Kill Repevious.
[1/2] Repevious: NO! THIS CAN'T BE POSSIBLE! M-MU-MY... DEATH SH-SHALL A-ARISE!
[2/2] Repevious: ON BOTH YOU AND ME!!!

Stage 7: Run back to the start of the bridge, you will teleport back to the fishing shack afterwards. However, Decaying Repevious will give chase with Speed V! Afterwards, report to Terri.
[1/4] Terri: Where have you been?! You've been gone for ages!
[2/4] Terri: Ah, well, no matter. As long as you're sure the Rein of Terror age is over, I can't thank you enough!
[3/4] Terri: Here take this---Wait a minute... where's my brother?
[4/4] Terri: What happened to Slan?!

Anyways, after posting this, I'm going to ACTUALLY read it...

 

I quite enjoy this, as it's detailed and has stuff to fight.

Alrighty, actually read it. First off, what DID happen to Slan? .-.

Also, if Decaying Repevious will insta-kill you, and runs with Speed V, unless his base speed was 0.1 or something, he'd catch up and you'd die pretty quickly. Unless you put a lot of points into Intelligence or were playing as Assassin so that he wouldn't chase you, that part might be the most difficult.

 

I don't want it added, but it's a really cool idea, and I want to see the sequel.

SEQUEL COMING OUT THIS WEEK!

 

Sorry Necromancer, it just doesn't seem like this quest will be added... unless you look over it again, and write down everything important that you missed. The introduction is great, but that's the problem; it sounds a lot better than what the starting NPC says. Stretch it out a little, it won't hurt to add more detail into what he's saying. Like the document that tells you everything you need to know about making a quest, the NPC's must have a personality, all of them.
Also, when I started making quests (don't search for any of my previous work, it got wiped on 9/7) I made the same mistake that you've done - the body of the quest itself. Think of the player; what do you really want in a quest that will actually satisfy you when you've completed it? A whole quest of battling monsters nonstop only to face a boss at the end? I wouldn't. That's how a dungeon is built, not a quest.
Overall, interesting idea, but could use some editing in the terms of creativity and detail.

 

How terrifying can reins be?

This is a cool quest, with a lot of fightning stuff etc

 

I'd say something about this quest if I could think anything except "that sounds like my quest".
