World Compass In Gavel Update

Hello guys.
While I was thinking of what would have been great addition to Gavel update so it can bring us more things for us to use and came to idea of compass. I know that there is already map on wynncraft.com/map but sometimes you just don't want to waste your time opening that link and jumping from browser to game and vice-versa. compass will be very handy. it will work like this-for example when you look at north in chat appears name of city from which you are close to in north direction. to explain more clearly imagine that in north there is detlas and after detlas there is nesaak while holding compass and looking north in chat will appear Detlas cause you are more close to it when looking north and so to south,west,east.
Please give me your opinion about it and don't forget to fill poll with your opinion

I don't know why, but I think this would be kind of insane to code (because of the amount of work...)
Also, it isn't that hard to switch from map/game, + with some time spent in Gavel / Wynn you will know all roads and cities anyways...

 

Compass = Points to spawnpoint
Just look at the map. Or if you need directions, look at the F3 Menu.

 

It would ruin the sense of exploration, because that's a big part of the server, and the map is made for people who are lost and don't know where they are, or to get somewhere, I know a coumpass would be cool, but then it wouldn't seem too RPG'ish so I'd say no

 

Wynncraft is a server for exploring, a compass would ruin the fun of exploring. Usually, I go on the Wiki and find the coors of the city, then F3 it all the way there. How hard is it just to go on the maps?

 

If you're really having trouble with navigation get a minimap mod (I recommend VoxelMap AKA Zan's Minimap). It's easy to install and saves you some time. Although if you do get a minimap, remember to turn off ALL radars, since Wynncraft doesn't allow those.

 

guys just want to mention I don't have problems with finding way cause I know most of the maps by hart but I just suggested idea but I agree with your opinions
