    When I logged back in after a 3 month break, I thought guilds were still sort of useless. The only thing you do as a high level player when attacking is spamming spells and hoping your opponent couldn't afford Bob, and when you're not in battle hanging around Detlas waiting for Gavel with your guild members. When I was talking with Ezura (the guild leader of Validus) I got some ideas on how to improve guilds! :D

    Divided Map

    Because pretty much all territories were owned by the richest guilds, most other guilds don't have a chance to get any territories. I thought it would be cool to divide territories based on guild level/average member level. This way all guilds have a chance to get territory. Higher level areas have a higher level territory assigned to them of course. For example, most of the jungle could be guild lvl 30+ territories. Any guilds that are not level 30 or up cannot attack those territories.

    Guild Bank

    Guild members are there to help each other, so why not have a guild bank? In the guild bank everyone can store items which others can take. If you have a used thunderbolt for example, you can put it in the guild bank so someone else can use it. Maybe you could make it so that these items are untradable (except for the owner), to avoid people 'stealing' items. There could be multiple guild banks of course: one for all members, but maybe one for chiefs and the owner too. I think you should only be allowed to have a guild bank as long as you control at least one territory.

    Custom Battleground

    Most guild battles are way too easy. As a lvl 75 warrior I can just spam the uppercut spell and regain my lost mana and health with mana steal and life steal. I think it would be really nice to have some sort of custom battleground, where you and your guild can build defensives (walls, a moat, towers etc.) and purchase special mobs to protect the territory (archers for in the tower, knights for on the ground, mages as support etc.). It would be extra awesome if you would be able to defend your 'castle' with your guild members. Maybe the guild bank could drop some random items as a reward, or a part of the emeralds contributed by guild members stolen? The defenders should have the advantage in this case, because the guild bank wouldn't be used if conquering a territory was too easy. This way you'll have something to do when you're waiting for Gavel and actually have a reason to conquer territories!


    All of these ideas just popped up, so feel free to make suggestions (I know it's not detailed enough but I just didn't have the time to finish everything at the moment, and I wanna hear what you guys think too :D).

    The only reason the big guilds have a lot of territories is because they worked hard for them

    I know, but don't you think it would be nice to have low level guilds fight about low level territories and high level guilds fight over high level territories?

    I say no to the divided territories because many of the larger guilds are more active and there would be way too much competition in that area with not enough income.

    What about us smaller guilds? We can't get income or XP at all. Why? Because we don't have enough members to claim territory and get tons of XP. Why don't we recruit more? Nobody wants to join a small guild. Why don't we make it bigger? We have no income, little XP, and not enough members to claim territory.

    Exactly, we are still doing fine for a minor new guild. You can't expect smaller guilds to own more than larger ones like fuq.

    Plus this minor guild still owns a good 1/8 of the map. Including the better ones too.

    What about the other 2000+ guilds that have never kept a territory longer than 20 minutes? You can't just say "oh well they all suck they don't work for it". We do work for it, we just never have enough people in our guild.
    Now if the smaller guilds banded together, the big guilds could be beaten, but that's very very unlikely.

    Edit: Congratulations on making your guild a success! That's hard to do nowadays.

    Most of them are inactive, just go on maps find a ton of small guilds that are active and ask them. Plus, there's a huge war going on, Legio Vs Concordia and many smaller guilds are taking advantage.

    There are big guilds that also can't hold a territory for more then 20 minutes

    We are trying-or at least most of us are. There are a few guilds that aren't, but those don't matter. What matters is that it's not really much fun for people who aren't in big guilds. Some of us are plenty powerful enough to easily take territories, but the big guilds have so many members that the moment the small guilds have to disconnect, they move back in and steal our territories.

    But they have the potential to because of their amount of members.

    There is something in what you are saying, One of the big reasons that tiny guilds have no chance to get a territory is because of all the glitchs, I don't see fighting 1,000 mobs is fun... But if it is then okay have fun, But what is so fun with holding territories when guilds are 100% glitched?

    People should work towards being strong, no exceptions! Everything else I agree with but I think there should also be more troops so those level 75/100 people don't one shot.

    I do not want half the map to be level 10 and under :P
    I only wanted some basic territories like ragni and surroundings + time valley. High level guilds won't get any XP from it and only hold it for the one emerald per minute (which is useless because it gets conquered after half an hour) or to impress the other guilds.

    The lower level territories can help smaller guilds to get strong, so the big guilds have some competition :D

    That's because guild battles are way to easy, so I thought having some sort of castle to defend with your guild would be more fun AND more challenging!

    Guilds are hopelessly broken and the system needs a complete rework. They were rushed to keep us satisfied while we were waiting for gavel and offer a good concept. Just my two cents

    This can be esploited to a player creates a guild, he/she doesnt invites anybody and BOOM a second bank, for 5 LE.

    True, but I would like it to be a small bank (let's say 9 slots) at first, and as you level up you gain more bank space (9 slots every five levels?), so you'll need extra players for more space. Also I wanted the guild to have at least one territory before they can have a guild bank, which is hard on your own.

    The first, say, 15-20 levels are really easy, even for somebody who's alone. And plus, the guild bank seems kind of unnecessary anyways.

    Divided map sounds like another "top guilds have too much territory" suggestion, and I'm gonna say the same thing again: They worked for it. So can anyone else.

    Custom battleground could be a good idea, but a bit different from what you said. Now, defending using your guild members is a big no-no, since then low level members will have far less chance of getting territory, and could become very annoying to the defending guild members too.

    The point of the guild bank is for players to share their items without risking losing them. And because the first couple of levels are easy to get, I want the guild to own at least one territory to access the bank (which is harder on your own if you add the custom battleground stuff).

    The divided map is just so the lower level guilds can have their own guild war, because the "top guilds have too much territory" stuff still hasn't been "fixed" this could be a (temporary) solution (all the players complaining about it is getting kinda annoying, so I thought I might as well try to solve it :P). Also if the guild banks get added and you need to own at least one territory to access it, the low levels (like 80% of the guilds) can have their own little area to fight over.

    Guild members defending would be more like the nether: all classes are "equal". I have to work out the details of this part, so any suggestions are welcome ;)
