World Abysso Galoshes In Lost Soles

It's kinda sad how you have to part with the Abysso Galoshes in the Lost Soles quest. I mean what? You're gonna accept the Abysso Galoshes only to give them back 6 levels later? I don't think so. I feel like there should be a way to keep the Abysso Galoshes, as in exchange them for an Untradable version, instead of Quest Item, similar to the Mummy's Rags. Plus, the Sodeta Boots are only 3 more defense than the Abysso Galoshes. All I want is someway to keep the Abysso Galoshes.

 

Abysso Galoshes are inferior to the Sodeta Boots in nearly every way. Sodeta Boots have higher average spell damage and loot bonus, and while you lose a bit of life steal and XP bonus, you gain MANA REGEN ON ARMOR I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW OVERPOWERED THAT IS MANA REGEN ON ARMOR and 0.7 health regen, and you also keep 0.1 life steal, making the Sodeta Boots superior in nearly every way. Plus, 68 defense is ONE LOWER THAN THE HIGHEST IN THE GAME FOR BOOTS. Abysso Galoshes are freaking terrible, being inferior to Bad Wolf in every way. why do you want to keep them when you're being given an option to trade them in for something so much better nd get rewarded elsewise for doing so?!

 

I have fully ID'd Sodeta Boots from a trade for 1.5 LE. And currently I have the Abysso Galoshes worn. So I basically have both for the normality of one.

 

So, you want Abysso Galoshes to be saveable because you already bought a pair of Sodeta Boots from someone else who finished the quest, and thusly don't want to do it again?

I don't follow your train of logic here.

I remember when a guy wanted my abysso galoshes and told me to drop it. I refused after him begging so many times. So glad I didn't.

 

The guy couldn't pick them up anyways. They're a quest item, aka untradeable.
