World Yes/no Options

    So the title may confuse you abit so let me explain,


    In most MMO's that I've seen you are able to interact with quests with yes and no options.


    For example I will use the Thieving Rodents Quest for this suggestion.



    Farmer Kelri will ask you to get the ring.


    An option like this will pop up in the chat.


    Of course I can.


    Sorry I don't have much time.



    When yes is chosen:


    Farmer Kelri : Thank you brave warrior.


    When no is chosen:


    Farmer Kelri : Oh, well come back if you think you are ready.



    When you talk to him again he will ask you if you have found it.


    Another option will pop up in the chat saying:



    Yes I have found your ring


    No, I'm still looking


    When yes is chosen and you have found it:


    Farmer Kelri: Ohh, you found it! Thank the king! I think I might have gotten away with this afterall!


    When yes is chosen and you don't have it:


    Farmer Kelri: Are you sure? I don't see it in your hands


    When no is chosen:


    Farmer Kelri : Well don't just stand there! Find it!



    This would make quests more interactive and not make it look like the villager is readng your mind. Hope you agree with this. If there are any changes this needs feel free to tell me

    While this would be great it'd require some major changes to the quest system, all for something that most people probably won't care too much about anyways.

    What you could also do is make a quest that does different things on your answer. For example, in jungle fever you could help the bad guy, and get the emerald reward, to turn him in when you are in Almuj and get a bracelet or something. People would notice that. Same thing for the blacksmiths apprentice. That way the player does not have to be such a "bad guy" all the time

    You could just not do the quest until later, or just not talk to the NPC in the first place.

    I wouldn't say that, but it'd probably require some form of change to every dialogue message.
