World Update To 1.9!

Why you ask? Heres why:

- More weapon textures, you can literally have more weapon textures with them all being just a single bow, then all the weapons already textures. This way, we can have more custom quest items!

-Mobs can hold shields, which can make more interesting/a better variety of mobs.

-Cool new blocks we can use for building

-The glass pains would no longer be glitchy for 1.9+ players!

-1.11 is coming, we'll have to drop 1.8 eventually, right?

 

It'll happen one day. Eventually.

 

While I can agree that those are some nice features, it takes quite a while to make things and especially code compatible with another version.
But since 1.9 luckly didn't change fundamental things in world creation and code, it should be a bit quicker this time.

+ The new attack speed is annoying
+ 1.9 is more lag than 1.8
+ Wynn's texture doesnt work (for me) at 1.9

 

Have you forgotten that 1.9 will benefit Wynn greatly? OP explains it in the original post, seriously.

 

Would be nice if you expressed why you think that way about updating Wynncraft to 1.9.

 

Yes, we can use the durribilty value texture thing insted of the block method, HOWEVER adding any more weapon models is time consuming. There will be work done anyway to retexture the new blocks to be used in wynn & gavel.

The new blocks can add more decor, but keep in mind the blocks can be changed as heavily as the Trippy sponge block, {I'm looking at you purpur!}

 

The only reason to play in 1.8 right now is to not get pushed places although this can actually be disabled for 1.9+ so either it's intentional or they don't know about it.

While we're at it, 1.10 would be even better (polar bears!!!!)

 

Just saying, if mobs have shields, archers are gonna have a bad time. And I have a feeling that with the follow up update, they're going to make Wynncraft 1.9 and 1.10 exclusive.

You forgot offhanding and new blocks/mobs.

 

Several glitches, features working incorrectly, broken resource packs. Among others.
