    I have an idea that I think would be cool to include in Wynn, a traveling merchant / a wayfarer! So how it would work is, depending on the in-game clock, the wayfarer would spawn in a random city on the map, and sell equipment/items based around that level for a discount, so there is a bit of luck involved in getting the wayfarer to spawn in the town you want, however taking the time to find the wayfarer could reap some nice rewards!

    The wayfarer can be found in any town, big and small (everywhere there is a title screen essentially), and the items he sells are completely randomized, yet around the level of each specific area. Some days he could sell armor/weapons, other times may be pots/materials, and other times a mix of everything, it's all up to RNG. However, it might be worth finding, because he does indeed sell these items at a discount!

    There will be no announcement of the wayfarer's arrival/departure, so tracking him might be difficult for those thinking of making a discord channel/server for wayfarer tracking, but it still might be possible. However, I don't think tracking him would be of much use because you don't know how long he's been there and if he is about to despawn or not.

    Edit: I appreciate the feedback guys, in terms of RNG I don't specifically mean the quality of items will be RNG based, I mean the kind of item will be. He will be guaranteed to have a few items of numerous qualities (rare, legendary armor and weapons etc), but which item it is specifically is picked from a pool of pre-determined items.

    I think that RNG is a terrible idea as there is already enough of it in Wynncraft, such as Identification - which is really annoying, and for items such as Mythics you can get like 3% and reroll and get 1% and waste like 3 stacks of le only to get 5%....

    That's the point of a traveling merchant, he has random items each time, like in every game where there is one. But maybe there could be a way to not use it idk. I just feel like with rng it would never get stale or boring knowing what he has. Maybe it could be static but there's a chance he has special items as well idk.

    first of all let me say- i love this idea, i think it would fit very well- however here are a few suggestions.
    1. i say he sticks around for 1 in-game day
    2. he should be able to spawn anywhere on the map, when one despawns another one spawns
    3. his appearance should fit the area, a villager in gavel, human in wynn, (and the ocean) corkian-type human on corkus, and one of the dern-ified miners in Silent Expanse
    4. some items should be a bit overpriced, as you know all merchants like that aren't that nice....

    Yes but then you get the rich people with mythics that have great stuff from the travelling merchant, but the poor guys (most Wynncraft players) only get like tier 0 materials

    I am saying that some people will really bad offers because RNG.
    But, the people with more money can afford can afford to buy more items and therefore can buy the good stuff when it appears.

    I feel that this should be stuff that isn't so good that people try to hunt him down, but still good enough so that if you happen to stumble upon him it's worth buying from

    I agree, the best equipment should be legendary tier at highest and maybe 2 star ingredients at the highest too.

    ...because wynn is different than vanilla? thats like saying
    "man i hate the walking system in mario, Why would you want it in minecraft"

    I personally am not a big fan of RNG-based stuff that gives a significant ingame boost, and especially smth that could encourage ppl to camp towns instead of killing mobs and identifying items. if this is another way to get "Impeccable oak sticks" or "clear diamond armor", then sure lol

    Well if he follows my suggestion I said he should be able to spawn anywhere in the map... (within reason ofc)
