I think that sprint bar shouldn't also drain your mana, which also makes no sense. Instead, when the sprint bar is empty, you should get effects of slowness and/or weakness.

As unrealistic as an infinite sprint is the entire game is unrealistic, due to magic. That point is out of the window.
Honestly the infinite sprint would just cut out wait time and honestly make transport much easier, and assisting people who need to escape and have an easier time in... well... escaping.

Most Wynn magic is explainable and balanced, it's not about actual realism, it's about relative realism.
If we're talking mAgiC aNYthiNg is PoSsiBlE, lets remove mana and let everyone spam cast infinite spells.
