Game Design Scrap Tomes

Tomes are awesome:
I want to start off by saying tomes are great! They're by far, my favorite addition this update. I love the idea of being able to get stronger without using different gear or getting skill points and 5 HP on levelling up. You can just play the game, do some raids, and get a little bit stronger each time.

But once you do the raid 10+ times . . . you get a LOT of tomes. What do we do with the ones we don't need? Just throw them out? We can't sell them to the blacksmith for some extra emeralds and trading them would be useless, since they're soulbound.

The idea:
This has probably been suggested before, so here are my ideas on it.

Allow us to scrap tomes somehow. Maybe a merchant, a gui accessed in the tome gui, or something.

What is this?
What I mean by "scrap tomes" is, allow us to turn 6 or something tomes of any rarity, from any one of our classes, into either 2 legendary tomes that we choose (with random pre-identified rolls, but we choose if it's an armor, slaying, etc), two random mythic tomes (since mythic tomes are worse than fabled), or a single random fabled tome. This would have a small price of course, like 8 EB or something.

Why?:
This way, we can get rid of the many un-needed tomes taking up an entire bank page, and turn them into a smaller amount of tomes that can be useful.
