Make Time Rift Better

So I have been going through the Eldritch Outlook many times. I use an Archer Spellcaster build that is centered around Nighthawk and Time Rift. My complaint is: When i am fighting the Eye, or any other thing for that matter, I cannot cast whatever spell I want to after casting the first. I try casting bomb after arrow storm, but while i am clicking the appropriate mouse buttons, Time Rift interrupts and casts arrow storm, and cancels out what I am casting. I have died because of this many times. Also, whenever i cast escape to replenish my speed, Time Rift casts escape a couple more times and uncontrollably flings me everywhere. Plz help.

 

it's a bug, but tbh, it's a bug i'm willing to accept
imagine a time rift that can freely recast spells without any interruption with current spells and a whopping upwards of 78% spell damage,
that sounds slightly broken

yea

if you don't like time rift, i would definitely replace it with something else that works in your build (i mean, time rift is never a necessity in a build)
thus i'd honestly consider keeping it somewhat this way to make a "risk and reward" kind of playstyle, or just fix the major ID and nerf the other stats

That's the downside of using it. If you find it annoying, use a different chestplate. The second part is absolutely intended; it has a chance of doubling all spells, not just combat spells or spells you want.

 

I find that if you cast really fast, its not a problem, except for meteor, where its almost useless. Also teleport recasting sucks. Once had it happen in CLS, and was sent into lava 5 times in a row
